I've played hundreds of rounds at practically every public course in Central Florida but for some reason never at Fairways....until now. What a fool I've been! Great course, great condition, great members and staff, and most importantly GREAT YARDAGE FROM FORWARD TEES. There's nothing worse for a golfer who hits 170 yard drives to have to hit driver 3 wood on every par 4 from the front tees as I have to do on MANY of the courses that I've played in Central Florida. Not at Fairways thank God. Love this course and you will too!

We love Swiss Fairways. Yes my friends, after it looked like SF would go the way of Rock Springs Ridge and close because of terrible conditions, the course is BACK and in great shape. An excellent course and always a bargain. Waiting for water skiers to pass before you hit is just one of the great things about SF. Worth the short drive from Orlando.

Me and my golfing family have played 70+ courses in Central Florida and Mayfair is right up at the top of the best value courses in the area. The tees and fairways are perfectly fine, not equal to $50 - $100 courses but at $25 or less for green fees, they are certainly playable. The greens on the other hand are FANTASTIC and easily comparable to the above mentioned overpriced courses. Play it, you won't regret it.

We had an 8:06 tee time but they already had a corporate tourney starting so we figured we were in for a VERY long day. Fortunately, the staff was awesome and they let us go off #10. The course was in great shape with smooth fairways an mostly great greens. We are all seniors so played from the front tees (if only LOTS more golfers would do that) and found the layout to be perfect for us. Only one complaint, and it's a BIGGIE. The course was cart path, for no apparent reason as it was perfectly dry except for a couple of VERY small areas that could have easily been marked for golfers to avoid. This made our round far more taxing and tiring than it needed to be but, all in all, was a fabulous day. We unanimously highly recommend Indigo Lakes.

We hate.....HATE cart path only courses! This one was, possibly because of rain the day before, but two of our golfers had extreme difficulty even finishing our 18 because of so much walking. The course is in very good shape except for some spotty greens and it's located in a quaint community with a great little downtown next to the clubhouse, but is way, WAY, out in the sticks. Several fairways are relatively tight, there is lots of water, you do not come back to the clubhouse until you finish 18, and there was no cart girl....on a SATURDAY. Bottom line....we paid $35 but there are LOTS of courses WAY closer in to the metro Orlando area that are in just as good shape, more golfer friendly, and in the $25 dollar range. It was cool to play once but that will be our last time. Oh, and LOTS of gators!

We've played Zellwood dozens of times and the result is always the same....fun. It was quite a bit slower going than normal but that is a rarity. The members are always awesome and they keep the course in tip top shape. I'm even contemplating becoming part of the community one of these days. You'll never be disappointed here.

We have played 70+ courses in Central Florida and The Monarch at Royal Highlands is at the top of the list. Beautifully maintained, challenging but with fair forward tees for us senior citizens, and the friendliest people I've encountered. I can't believe I haven't come here before, but I'll certainly be back soon and often.

If you are craving a round on one of the many $80+ "attraction" courses in the Orlando area but you wince at the cost, this course is for you. Beautifully maintained, challenging (not a drop of water but WELL bunkered), tee stations for every skill level, friendly staff, great service, but most importantly, not in the least pretentious and modestly priced (my bro and I paid $17 for 18 and a cart). It's only 20 minutes from downtown Orlando and 5 minutes off of I-4. You will love this course and you'll keep coming back. Oh btw, rated 20th best course in Florida by Golf Week magazine.

We love playing MDGC, especially at the right price. It is always in good shape and affords seniors a chance at good scoring with the shorter tees. It is a beautiful setting made even better when the carillons play their music in the distance. Just a fun course with friendly people.

I only recommend courses if you can get a tee time for $15 or less, unless of course I am playing a super premium, Disney type course. With the plethora of courses in the Orlando area, anything over $15 is a waste of money. I played Mayfair on a Sunday for $14 on a Hot Deal and it was a great value. Senior tees are perfect for a fair chance at scoring. My brother and I play only GolfNow supported courses, $15 or under, that have fair senior tees and Mayfair fits the bill when they offer reasonably priced ($15 or under) tee times. They will generally allow you to play by yourselves, rather than pairing you with others, which is also a plus. Simply a fun course.

Beautiful setting, excellent greens, awesome price......great combination.
