LPGA International - Jones Course

All was good till the end of the first hole. By finishing hole two...wow did it rain! Course held up but way too much water. Greens had been fast and tee to green was quite plush. LPGA Jones course was fine today. MARY was great in pro shop. They had hustle and bustle of a tournament so things were hectic.

My one complaint has been slow greens, but not any more! These green were much faster and the ball tracked True!!
Pretty much everything else was the normal good conditions. If you are looking for the hilly Central Florida course with lots of traps...you have found it.
The Country Club of Mount Dora

Nice feel as soon as you approached property. Nice staff and pro shop and has members only locker room. Nice clubhouse facility. Greens were just a little grainy but ball rolled fairly true. Nice “short” type of par 4’s that Jack Nicklaus likes. Interesting and challenging par 5’s that are birdieable.

Hard work and lots of rain has transformed this course! Greens, fairways, and tees!! Nice fast turn-around.

Use to be a nice but pretentious course.. but now a goat pastur but still has nice greens. New ownership. On its way back!
Gary player would've been upset with they'd had let happen to his course! Design!!

I have never seen great greens and horrible tees and fairways!! They have evidently placed herbicide and are supposed to cut fairways short today. Tees will take time to grow back grass. Very unusual.
Casselberry Golf Club

In drought conditions it is tough for everybody. They greens keepers have been careful to bring them back slowly. We have gotten some rain and things should get even better this season!

Winter Park Golf Course
Played On 10/19/2016This green configuration made it more difficult to putt. Had 3- 3 putts!-Yikes! The birdies helped though.
Greens are now very undulating and larger since the renovation! Fairways are rolling too. New bunkers installed to make some shots tougher.
