This course is worth playing, however if pace of play is important to you, I’d avoid this course on Fri, Sat and Sun. 4 1/2 hours would be quick for them. Yesterday we finished in almost 5 1/2 hours. Totally ridiculous. They allow 5 somes, I saw a 6 some behind us. The greens are typically in good shape and reasonably fast. Fairways are meh. It’s a par 70 and they have several lengthy par 3s in excess of 200 yards from the whites.

Strength of this course is their greens. Lots of elevated and undulating greens. Traps were in great shape with lots of sand, you will need the bounce in your sand wedge to be effective.

This is an unusual course. Par 70. Par 32 front. Par 38 back. All three par 5s on back. Played blues. Quite short 5120 yards. Fairways are so so. Many are sloped. Bunkers are inconsistent. I was only in one but have played here before. Greens are in great shape and are by far the best part of the course. Several blind tee shots. Many shots up to elevated greens. A straight hitter will do well here. A wild bomber will suffer I think on this course.

This courses fairways are a work in progress. Lots of cordoned off areas. Clearly trying to improve conditions. Greens were in real good shape overall and fairly quick. Pay attention to the GPS on carts. Lets you know where traps and distances to Burns are. No trees and hard to pick out your target on lots of holes. Be worthwhile to play with someone who has played the course before. Played as a single the front 9 and hooked up with a local for the back 9. Teed off at noon and done by 2:30. As a hot deal a bargain and I will play again.

This course has been redesigned I was told. It shows up in a variety of ways. 3 consecutive par 5s which is a first for me. Par 32 front. Par 38 back. This wont be everyones cup of tea. A number of blind tee shots. A number of sloped fairways. If you are iffy with your driver bring a bumber of extra balls. That said if you can hit straight 3 woods or 5 woods or long irons. The course is not long. Accuracy trumps length significantly with this course. Fairways are so so. Greens are very good and fast. Want to be below the hole. Prior Course knowledge would be very helpful. I will play again when I am in the area.

Played as a golf now hot deal. Greens were so so. Very thin. Particularly near edges. Seems to be the trend for courses in the desert this time of year bur rolled true although a tad slow. Pulled up to see mens club teeing off for an event which was initially concerning. The course staff could not havebeen nicer. They allowed 2 of us to start on the back. Made for a very enjoyable round. They were punching fairways on 4 or 5 fairways but No big deal. Rough was not deep. Played from whites and only a couple holes really required a longer drive. Overall conditions were good. Weather perfect. Several holes invokved water and were the more memorable ones. Nothing overly demanding but a nice fair track. Kudos to the staff.

This was my 2nd time playing this course. The first being 6 or 7 years prior. 30 min frost delay in morning. Quite unusual for this course. A long hitter could eat up the par 5s as they are not particurlarly long. I played from the whites and am a 9 handicap on this course. Quite a few bunkers. Waste areas and water on a few holes. Bermuda fairways were half green and half brown. Greens were wet and held very well. Many uphill. Downhill and sidehill lies. Reading greens somewhat of a task due to course being built into side of hill. A very fair test but reasonably accurate drives and a decent mid to short iron game and this courae can be had. 4 hour round. I rated this excellent value value for money due to golf now hot deal. Walkong off the street and paying rack rate. That would not be the case. A very nice course none the less.
