This is a beautiful course I couldn't give 5 stars cause the sand traps were horrible but the fairwaysand greens were excellent. The staff left a lot to be desired not friendly or helpful at all. We had planned to eat at the restaurant but we couldn't even get a beer for a long time so we left and went to San Ignacio Golf Club and let me tell you, they had it going on and the food and service was impeccable. Sad I had to.leave a Review like this cause it is a fine facility, just need some major training in being a people person and acknowledgeing people when they arrive.

My wife came down fron San Tan Valley AZ for a stay and play at Conoa Ranch Golf Resort and played San Ignacio Golf course on the package and it was fantastic. The facility was amazing friendly friendly friendly from the Pro Shop to the Bar to the starters. Then on the turn was a little bar with two absolutely terrific ladies who were a hoot. We love this place and we will definitely be back. We stayed at the Conoa Ranch Resort the room was fantastic and the Grill on the Green was absolutely incredible for dinner.

Some blind fairways for 1st time players, we were disappointed in the fairways and greens they had been plugged and it was still $75 for an 11:30 summer time tee time. So I guess we were expecting more. The course staff was fabulous, friendly smiling made you feel very welcome from the time we pulled in until we left.

This track is awesome, it’s just sad to me to see the see the deterioration of the facilities around this beautiful course. The lack of pride shows in the maintenance of the the Club house area, The chuckwagon a center piece of the grounds no cover indirect lighting for the trees Brocken and lying on the ground no pins or cups on the chipping green pigeon droppings on the tarp sides of there patio enclosure missing heaters for cold winter evenings etc. There are no waitresses to wait on you it’s strictly self serve it’s unbelievable actually. They need to take a look through a customer’s eyes and see what they are seeing when they visit this facility. Sad!!☹️ Take some pride in your facility you have a Gold Mine right in front of your face.

This was a fun course to play friendly clean and so well kept for being established in 1913. Watch out for the canal that runs thru it’s hidden and it got me nearly every time.

I hadn't played here in a few years but I returned to the area for a few days and got in 3 rounds. There has been some beautiful landscape improvements and the course was in impeccable condition as usual the greens were amazing ball rolled fast and true. The improvements in the club house blew me away absolutely beautiful and the remodel of the lounge and grill were incredible also.
This is a class act golf course so if you are looking to spend a day at the course while visiting Rapid City you will definitely be cheating yourself. Hit-em long and straight!!

This is an old mature course with ponds huge beautiful trees it’s a great layout it just needs some TLC but we did have fun. Staff was great and the gal in the lunch stand at the turn was the bomb!! Do not pass that stand without getting one of her hot dogs or brats they are fantastic!! We will definitely go back And play again.

Excellent conditions, our Knickers Group went and played and we had a great experience we will definitely play Poston again. We got lot’s of fun comments on our colorful attire and baggy pants.

This course is a beautiful track as the front nine plays thru the San Tan Mountain foothills. Fairways and greens are in great shape but weeds have overtaken the grounds area and there needs to be some sprucing up around the Club House. It’s very cool and unique, they have this Chuckwagon area out by the putting driving range with Fire pits (bottoms are gone out of them) a sitting area( but the benches are in real bad shape and the Cover on the awesome wagon is ripped and caving in it looks bad and that area is what you see for your 1st impression of this beautiful course. Just wanted to let you know what the buying public sees in there eyes. As a past business manager the First Impression is huge and that sometimes as we come to work everyday we don’t seem to notice what the public notices like the things above maybe you hadn’t noticed the benches and the fire pits being in very unsafe conditions. You have a beautiful facility and I just wanted to FYI you.

Fairways and greens are nice greens are rolling superb!! Cart path area needs some TLC rough holes along the path drag the desert area would really spice this course up!! Just sayin!!

Greens rolled very true fairway were nice!! Pace of play was slow we had hackers ahead of us playing from the back tees!! Ridiculous!! But we had a great time!!

For August in AZ this course was in unbelievable condition it was beautiful the greens rolled so true and smooth fairways were immaculate !! Bunkers were also in great shape!! Highly recommend this track!!

Course is in great shape compared to this time in past years I was impressed!! Keep up the good work!!

Fun Hotel with History, we stayed and played and will definitely go back again!! Course was ok nothing special but the people who worked throughout the complex were amazing great smiles friendly as you could ever ask for funny and fun also!! The food in there longe and restaurant were absolutely amazing the presentation was incredible and the food was delicious!! We recommend this place for a weekend getaway we had an absolute blast!!

We had a fantastic day at JR course is in amazing condition greens roll very true. One of the guys in our group aced #12 which was exciting. We love playing here. It’s just sad how many people don’t appreciate these beautiful greens and take the time to fix there divots on the green. Its just pure laziness!! Sad!!

We had a wonderful round everyone was so accommodating and the course was in great shape!! You gotta play it!!

Course is the best I have seen it in years nice improvements to the course and the Terrace bar and restaurant!!

JR is in incredible condition the fairways are lush and thick hope they continue to mow the fairways as they are at this time they are awesome!! Green rolled nice and smooth!! The view from there patio it incredible but there was only wait on yourself service for food and beverage very strange!! But the rest of our day here was fantastic!! Service after your round would make you feel like they appreciate you coming out to there facility!!

The course was in great shape we really enjoyed playing it it is a challenge for sure!! We will all definitely play it again there were 8 of us and we all enjoyed it a bunch!! The only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 star was one pond was quite ripe and needed to be cleaned and have some Carrie arreation should put in!!
