I played this course about 8 years ago, and did not remember it well, probably because of all the improvements. The greens roll well, about and 8 or 9, but the best part is the lush fairways . We moved them around as usual, but this was not necessary as the conditions were perfect. I am 79 and played from the turquoise or Senior tees, which were about 5300. Would prefer to hit 7-9s rather than 4s-6s on the. par 4s, but it was indeed a great test. Thanks much for a great day.

The layout is very good for an old course. The greens were inconsistent, although lush, as are most Bermuda greens. Not sure you can improve them with the local weather: heat and lots of rain. Once you become accustomed to Florida Bermuda, with a firmer stroke on the greens, the uniformly plush fairways combine for a very good golf experience. We will be back.
