Greens a little hard , making it play like links golf. Some fairways not recovered from last years weather and had bare , scruffy areas but generally very good. Live locally and would definitely return for the price.

Although the course was busy the starter and General manager were awesome in getting everyone teeing off on time. Great course in great condition. And free hot dog too.

Our thanks to Evan in the Shop who let us amend our tee time at very short notice due to weather. We played after 12.00 lunch and there were very few people on the course , thus allowing us to complete our round in less than 3 hours. Fabulous .

We play at Ridgewood every time we visit from the UK. Having read some of the reviews we weren't sure what to expect , however , the course is in good condition despite a few uprooted trees caused by the hurricane. Only a handful of greens need attention and after speaking with the greenkeeper after play it is clear they are working hard to repair and restore the course to its best. For lower handicap golfers Ridgewood is a much better challenge than any 'resort' course so save yourself some $ and give it a try.

No bag drop staff , starter, ranger and the bar / restaurant closed at 10am. Carole in the pro shop gave me the impression I was an inconvenience. No welcome , manners or service training . Course is a great layout but the greens are shocking . I won't be back . There are better courses around for the same $

Great course and in super condition given the dry weather. Bag drop guy was rude and more interested in talking to his colleagues than his guests. Not really representative of the brand. However , the staff in the shop and the starter guy were very friendly. Pin positions were tricky , particularly with the speed of the greens. All in all , a fantastic golf experience and worth the $.

We paid half the rack rate due to aerification of their Greens and had high expectations . However , compared to other courses the condition of the tee boxes and fairways was only average , indeed some look really scruffy and not what we expected . El Campeon at Mission Inn is much better and Royal St Cloud is too and for a third of the price we paid at Waldorf . The drinks in the bar are hotel prices : $18 for two small beers and a coke. !! Nice to have experienced but in no rush to return. Many better courses for much less money .

From the bag drop , pro shop , starter and bar staff , the service was excellent.
The course is in fantastic condition . Lots of wildlife to see including deer , herons , and quite a tame raccoon !! Great day and would recommend to play .

The course has matured since we last played here 8 years ago . It was much more memorable this time around and can be challenging if you play from the longer tee boxes. The overall conditions were excellent and the greens very fast. The staff were very friendly , from the valet lads , the starters and the pro shop who all made us feel welcomed to the course.
We got a great deal through golf now , paying about a third of the rack rate , Even though we really enjoyed the course I wouldn't consider it value for money if you paid the rack rate.

Generous off the tee and no water comes into play .
This makes the course ideal for higher handicap golfers. Not particularly memorable in that many holes appear the same . Not challenging enough for low handicap golfer. The staff are fabulous and could not do enough to help us . Greens are excellent.

This course reminds me of Rio Pinar to look at and play. The greens have lots of slopes and are very quick. Land your ball the wrong side of the flag and you can easily three putt. The speed of play was good and we were done within three hours. The staff in the shop and bar are friendly. Look out for the carved tree in the centre of the 6th fairway . It is fantastic.

This course is very wide open and uninteresting. Many of the holes seem the same , just back and forth within a big field. You can hit the ball on ajoining fairways and not worry about recovering to reach the greens. The greens are awful.
I only paid $18 to play and would have been really disappointed if I had paid more.
This course is for beginners not for low handicappers.

Everything about this course is first class.
The course is beautifully maintained and the staff are great.
The last three holes are played around a lake and the clubhouse views of this lake are stunning .

Got a golf , range balls , lunch and drink deal from golf now . The course was in great condition , the staff very welcoming at the bag drop , pro shop , the starter , and the restaurant .
There is lots more construction going on since we last visited but this does not spoil the golf at all.
Having played many different courses in Orlando , this has to one of the best for course condition .
Excellent value for money for a course of this standard.

Whilst the course overall was ok the greens were patchy . Some were covered in sand , perhaps still wet from the recent bad weather. In comparison to the normal condition of this course , I was a little disappointed.

Undulating and challenging layout. This is the first time we have played this course and we found it enjoyable . The staff in the pro shop were very welcoming and told us about future offers when we went to speak with them after our round . We will definitely be returning.

Whilst this course is not as pristine as the 'resort' courses , it is much more challenging to play . Many holes are tree lined and have swamp areas that eat into fairways . You have to plot your way around ; you cannot simply hit driver as far as possible .
Take lots of balls ; if you hit yours off the fairway you take a risk by walking in the swamp to retrieve it !! . The staff are very friendly from the bag drop , the pro shop and the bar staff.
A 'must play' for the serious golfer.

If you like Harmony , you will like Red Tail.
This course is in great condition and has great staff . The course is never crowded so you can play at your own pace .

Good test of golf for all handicap levels. Tree lines fairways which are undulating too. We played on a cold windy day which added to the difficulty . Very few people out playing so we were able to enjoy the course and not feel rushed.
Some of the greens are patchy and a bit diseased but this does not spoil the round

Dress code not challenged by the staff ; a guy paired with us was allowed to play in jeans , trainers and a round neck casual shirt . Is the green fee more important than the standards ?
Tee time 12.08 and only just made it round in daylight ; more than 5 hours to play and no course ranger/ambassador to hurry people along. Aside from these two frustrations the course is fantastic and the staff friendly .
