Always have liked this course
When living in Scottsdale was my home course
1st time playing here in about 2yrs
The Staff was great as always, Greens and Fairways were in great shape

The sand traps here are awful
Watered down, puddled and full of Rocks
And how do you charge $8 for high Noon at bar but at turn outside its $9

Again, good course overall
But def not worth what they charge!

Dove Valley was my home course for 6yrs before moving away for work for 15 months
Well Im back and Dove is better than ever
Just reseeded and have never seen this course in such great condition.
Pace of play was great 3.5hrs
Only downfall was No Cart Girl

Excited to be home and have Dove as my Home Course again!

Played this course many times
Layout is good, Not great!
Fairways were in great condition
Greens a tad fuzzy and slow (overseeding)
Only saw cart girl twice but drinks are expensive
Paid only $60 for round
Prices are about to double and course isnt worth it in my opinion!

The course wasnt worth $30

Driving range was in awful condition, course even worse
Tee'd off at 750 and didnt see cart girl til 18th hole on 85 degree day
Fairways- good luck finding real grass to hit out of
Sand craps had so little sand I putted out of the 2 I was in

1 and only time ill play this course

Had 836 Tee Time
Course in good condition considering it had rained overnight.
Great Layout, tight course and had plenty of challenging holes.
Couple things that keeped it from being a 5
Pace of play, Awful! 5hr round not acceptable and no ranger anywhere.
Also after a convo with the group behind us they shot on us a handful of times with us unable to go anywhere. Again situation like this is where a Ranger is needed.

1st time Golfing this Course and will be the last
Dont get me wrong it wasnt terrible but does need improvements!

No Sand in Bunkers- Watered down
Tee boxes not in best of shape and not level
Some dead spots on greens

I shouldve listened to the Reviews for this course cause they are true

Charged me extra $25 for my wife to ride in cart
Too much sand on greens
Workers on almost every hole
Fairways not in Great Shape
No cart Girl or Beverage stand open
Only about 6 holes you can see the Ocean
And the Lady checking in, Personality of a Bran Muffin

Do yourself a favor and spend alittle more and play elsewhere!

I have golfed this course many times and this is the 1st time Im leaving being highly disappointed!

First the Good-
Friendly Staff checking In and at Bag Dropoff
Front 9 we cruised, 2hrs and 10 mins. Big thumbs up to that!

Now the Bad-
Back 9 they let out Members (Waited over 15mins to Tee off after Front 9) than waited anywhere from 5 to 8mins on every Tee Box
Course wasnt in the Best of Conditions
Fairways were good
Greens really bad and alot of dead spots on them, Fringe was Mud or Crab Grass and couldnt putt thru most of it
Bunkers next to No Sand, alot of Rocks and Grass in them
Stopped in for a Bagel at turn and Bartender had the Personality of a Stale Bran Muffin
And with all the Not Good above they still charged 119, Course shouldve been No more than 70 bucks at best

Hopefully they turn things around as this is Normally a really great Course

Always Love this Course and Staff is Amazing!
5hr round in the AZ heat is Never fun and Ranger did nothing to try to speed it up!
Couple greens in bad shape but Overall the Course was in great Condition!

Use to always love playing this course-
Today was a totally diff story
Fairways were soaked at 9am in the morning
This is totally unacceptable
Ball not rolling at all and lost a few cause they plugged
Others than that always love this course

Let me start off by saying the Staff was the Best ive ever dealt with!
The course was great and in good condition considering the rain the day before.
The greens were also slow due to the rain.

My only Negative is that holes 13-18 were closed and this was not mentioned to me prior. Being on Vaca from AZ this wouldve been helpful but it wont stop me from playing here again next time Im back in Colorado

Short Course and great layout
Pace of Play just awful with Rangers on Course
At 1 point here was 3 groups waiting on 9th hole to tee off.
Waiting anywhere from 5 to 10mins on a Tee Box
Again good course, Not great
3rd time golfing this Course and Pace of play has always been a issue

Have lived in Anthem, AZ for 2.5 yrs and proud to call this my home course.
From the minute you get there and check your bags in with Scott, to the guys at the Front Desk and than Jen and the rest of cart girls they make you feel like Family!
Course has some amazing views and some veey tough holes!
Luv the course, like the Staff even more!

Minus Pace of Play have nothing bad to say!
Well worth the 2hr drive from Anthem
Will def play again in the Future!

Had alot of fun today golfing this course for the 1st time-
Course layout is about what you would expect. Loved the Par 5's as they were long.
Few tight holes but nothing major.
Just a overall fun course-

Alot of rain few days prior
Course was in awful shape
Alot of empty bottles on fairway, and dead fish on 9th Fairway
The didnt bother to touch the sandtraps as they were concrete.
85 bucks was a waste
Shouldve spent the extra 20 to go golf elsewhere!

Cold morning but course was in excellent conditions.
Layout was nice with some challenging holes.
Overall course condition was great and the sand traps were in amazing shape (with actual sand).
You had to be smart with some of your shots as a few fairways were really narrow!
Staff was friendly and felt bad for the cart girl as she looked frozen.
Only downfall which they have no control over is the small airport.
Will def be back!

Been in AZ now for 2yrs and finally decided to give this course a try' and after playing this course wish I wouldnt of waited. Amazing layout and the course was in excellent condition considering we had a full day of rain the day/night before.
If i had 1 complaint it would be the bunkers as they didnt have enough sand.
Others than that this is def a 5star course and would highly recommend it!

This is my home course as its only 15mins from my house.

This course is always in great condition, the back 9 will make you think and rethink your club selection and the staff is nothing short of great.

A def much try for all skill levels

Been in AZ a yr and played many courses and til this date still my favorite course.
My only issue is it was 106 on Wed and they have plenty of areas with available water but id still recommend a cart girl.
