Really enjoyed the visit, but the lack of water hazards on the course makes it more similar to an English parkland course than a typical Florida experience.
Quite unique in its own way, and a decent challenge from the back tees.
The greens were excellent and the best I have played on so far this trip.
It would provide an excellent venue for a corporate golf day back home in the UK - a fair challenge for all standards of golfer.

Layout good but course requires serious investment.
Bunkers are poor and greens have been treated so unfair to judge.
Little details like no water in the ball washers. Even if investment a problem in these challenging times, that is simply a matter of organisation and pride.
Lakes need airiating as water stagnant, impacting on wildlife, which has been a historic feature of the course.
It’s a shame because the potential is enormous.

The course was actually OK but the staff are the worst we have ever experienced in all the time we have been visiting Florida from The UK.
The welcome from Erica in the pro shop was non existent.
The course was exceptionally quiet and yet they still insisted on ripping us off to the tune of $25 for my wife to ride alongside me as a non player.
Costas, the apparent manager, showed no interest whatsoever in creating goodwill.
We shall never return.
Beware !!

Fun course, good layout and good challenge.
The day was spoilt by the pace of play - 4.5 hours for a single and the lack of etiquette displayed by other players.
Slow play is the curse of golf, and the marshalls could and should have been far stricter.

Whilst the course has suffered from the exceptionally dry conditions, the quality of the greens is a credit to the ground staff.
The layout of the course provides a decent challenge to any golfer, and so I would recommend that you play this course, playing preferred lies, and enjoy the sunshine ! Really excellent holiday golf.
A mention also for the friendliest of welcomes in both the pro shop and the 19th hole.

This course is deceptively challenging and must be treated with respect !
The greens are excellent, and whilst the course is suffering, like most in the area, from the unusually dry conditions, you simply play preferred lies and enjoy the layout and the sunshine !

An excellent days golf on a moderately challenging course. Very good for the ego as I scored 44 Stableford points off a handicap of 19 ! Very impressive community lifestyle environment. We played the Oaks Course but were given the opinion from a staff member that the Cypress course is more challenging.
Would recommend a visit, and would definitely return on the 2017 tour.

The overall review rating for this course is not wrong ! I have now played ten rounds of golf during a five week Florida vacation, and this course has rated Number One ! Steve at the pro shop was the epitome of customer service, and I'm glad I took his advice to play off the white tees for my first visit ! A marvellous golfing experience all round, and already looking forward to playing again next year.

Superb golf course. Very well maintained. It provides a very stern challenge for the higher handicap golfer off the blue tees. Would wholly recommend the course.
One note of caution. I am a single, and my wife likes to join me as a rider. The round of golf through your website cost me $10 plus tax and fees. The golf professional in the shop, Mike Clayton, insisted on charging us $25 plus tax for my wife to ride on the cart. He clearly is in the position of power here, and so no option other than to pay, but a total rip off, which left a rather bad taste. In hindsight, I should have booked for two players.

Really enjoyed playing this course, but definitely the easiest course on this vacation to date due to the wide fairways, and the inability for any reasonable golfer to get into too much trouble. Shot a net 66 off the white tees, which I was delighted about, but not fooled ! Really beautiful surroundings, and all in all, a golfing experience which I would recommend is tried at least once.

Nice friendly welcome and no charge for my wife as a rider. The course was very wet in places due to the considerable overnight rain, and so cart paths only, which was not a problem.
I found the course interesting and challenging with the water and sand hazards, but provided you play within yourself, you have a realistic chance to shoot a decent score. - off the blue tee markers, played to my 19 handicap on the front nine, but dropped two shots on the back. Had my putter been working better, I would have been exceptionally pleased with my day's work !
