Over the last few weeks I have played the course a few times. Having come out of over-seed the track is in fabulous shape and will only get better. On some holes they have consolidated the tee boxes, I am assuming to encourage strong grass growth on unused boxed at this time. That will yield a better experience for all skill levels once they come back in play.

Since we have played the course many times I know what to expect in general. This time we found the tee boxes to be extremely hard and very difficult yo place tees in the ground. This despite the rain that has fallen this year. If the tee boxes could get some attention that would really be appreciated.

The course is in very nice conditions and the greens were extremely fast. The pace of play we very good and we teed off just after 11 am. I will be heading home but will be back in the new year to see if I can better my score.

I always enjoy playing out here as it different than the course you find in the area. It is quirky but that is what keeps us coming back. Coming out of over-seed the course still needs time to fill in. Tough to keep carts off the course when the paths are limited between the tee box and the green. But with a little water and daytime heat this course will be really nice in a couple weeks. There were 8 of us with the females teeing off in front of the gents. Pace of play was excellent. Staff were great as well, and the 19th hole was a nice place to end our round. We will be back and we look forward to it.

We had a late morning couples round booked with good friends from Chandler and we had a great day all around. The only exception was our scores, but that is purely user errors and no fault of the course.

We were greeted upon arrival by the blue shirt staff, and Mike in the pro-shop was very welcoming as well. While our guests warmed up on the range I took to the practice green which I found to mirror the course greens which were in excellent shape.

When our tee time was called the started welcomed us and provided some instruction to guide our round which was very well done.

Although it was a Saturday, the course pace was excellent in part due to the presences of the course marshall/ ranger providing updates on the pace ahead.

It was a great day…excluding #15 where the pin placement was a true challenge to putt anywhere near the hole a have it come to rest. But I guess the objective is to 1 putt…so once again user error.

After a 24 hour drive to JR from SK, we booked our first game at JRGC. Just off of over-seeding and the course was in great shape. The greens were a little shaggy but that was expected and not an issue. I have golfed here many times, but it was my golf partners first trip around the course and he really enjoyed it. The course is going to be in outstanding shape in a week or so once the greens get cut a few more times.

This course is in great condition and the best experience is when you go out on the Valley 9 and come home on the Mountain 9. There is good visibility of the Marshall which helps with the pace. The Staff in the pro-shop are accommodating and the staff who welcome you on and off the course are pleasant.

With the lack of good pub and restaurant in the JR area, I think this course could do very well if it expanded its food and beverage service offering and hours. It is a nice location to relax away from the busy streets.

My son and I had another great day on the ranch. We were greeted with two smiling women and welcomed by the pro-shop staff and then had a very pleasant starter check us in. We were paired with two fun guys from NYC and we had a great round in 4 hours. We are heading home to the cold, but I will be back In April and will be back for a few more rounds. I just hope the course is in as good of shape as it is now.

From start to finish my wife, son and myself had an excellent round today. We were welcomed by the the staff loading the carts and the starter. Pace of play we exceptional as we were done in 3 hours 40 minutes. Course is in fabulous shape. We are playing again on Thursday morning. Just wish there were ball washers on the course. Well done folks.

This is the second time I played this course. Not overly difficult but fun and in exceptional shape. We were paired with a couple of fun guys from Alberta and we had a great round. I plan to be back with some friends in early April. If they continue to pay attention to the course, this will be a real gem.

Did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. Pro shop staff were exceptional. Got paired up with a very nice guy who knew the course which helped. I would certainly had back with reasonable rates.

Had an absolutely wonderful day on the course with friends who had never played here before. Great experience from the time we arrived till the time we put our clubs in the vehicle. Course is getting in better shape with each passing day. The greens are in exceptional shape for the time of year. Staff were welcoming, attentive and friendly at every interaction. Excellent value for your golfing dollar.

My son and I golfed early in the morning. My experience with the customer service I received was very good. Right from the staff greating us upon arrival to the Starter (who was very welcoming and informative) to the course Marshall who checked in on us twice during the round. While this courses uses ‘volunteer’ staff, there should be some supervision of their performance. This is not the first time I experienced this lack of attentiveness by the ‘volunteers’ upon our arrival staff did not assist with Getting our bags to the carts from our car. At the Starters desk there were three staffers ‘chatting’ while I stood right in front of the desk. I was completely ignored for a good 5 minutes. When they turned their attention to me it was without any kind of welcome. It would appear some ‘Volunteers’ are only interested in getting their free golf. Customer Service is secondary at best.

This is by far one of my most favored courses. It is in exceptional shape. It certainly helps to play with someone who knows the layout as there is plenty of water to consume your golf balls. This course will remain on my MUST play list each tome I return to the area.

Greens were very inconsistent, sand was hard, and fairways could use some water.

This was our third time at the course. It did not live up to the memory. Staff did not seem very excited about anything. Certianly did not leave me with a good customer experience. Pace of play was very slow, nearly 4.5 hours. Lots of leaves on the course that seemed to have been there for days, not hours. Greens are in great shape however. May not be a choice the next time around.
