Relatively easy, straightforward course.. nice staff.

Steele used to have an awesome bfast. Buddies and I would meet early before our 7:00-8:00am (beat the heat) tee times for bfast and a Bloody Mary, but we were disappointed to learn the kitchen and bar no longer open at 6:00. The only thing they can offer you before 9:30 is a microwaved Jimmy Dean sausage sandwich. Yuk.

South is not a long or shot demanding course, it's a straight forward, tee to green resort style layout. Good for just getting out with friends and a few beers. Course is in good overall shape, green and lush like most in the area due to heavy rains this winter. Greens unfortunately (poa) are very bumpy and slow. A very average course with nice amenities. North is the one you want to play for a challenge.

Short, but shot demanding. Lots of elevation changes and dog legs with a few blind tee shots. Fairways are coming back from aeration, very firm, tight lies. Greens are very good.

Have played here a few dozen times, but it's almost always the same. Decent fairway to green conditions, accommodating staff, soft/bumpy greens and below average food and beverage. Quality draft beer on a hot day, shouldn't be served at room temperature. Don't understand why there's a $5 cart key deposit at check in. I've probably donated an additional $50 here because I forget to hike back up the stairs and stand in line to get my $$$ back. Too many options within minutes of here to play regularly.
