Course in great shape; greens fast and putting green was consistent with course greens. If you can play 7, 8 & 9 at even par, you will likely have a good round. Once aeration holes are completely smooth, STAY BELOW THE HOLE!!
Olde Liberty Golf & Country Club

One of the best layouts in the Wake County metro area. The greens were in good shape but the fairways still leave a lot to be desired. There’s a lot of deadpan in the fairways.

Good course to work on your game; greens are pretty good but I hear that they’re converting over to MiniVerde which will be nice. All fairways play as lateral hazards but there’s enough fairway to stay in.

Challenging course; greens appeared to be painted but pretty fast. Course layout is great but it’s not what it used to be. Owner needs to put some dollars back into the course to bring it back to its former self.

Very nice British owned course with deep faced bunkers; must shape shots off the tee; greens are large and in pretty good shap; fun and fair layout.

Our bunkers can be a little difficult to traverse, our fairways tend to offer a large landing area for all players. The greens are large but can be difficult to read sometimes. Layout has always been one of the better layouts in the Charlotte area but the greens and general course conditions around the edges is not what it once was. Greens were bumpy with various grasses growing in the greens.
The Club at Savannah Harbor

Very nice course; a little wet but otherwise very good condition.Greens are nearly back from being punched and when they are, stay below the hole!!
Nice layout with a little of everything; good set of Par 3s.
UNC Finley Golf Course

Played UNC Finley for the very first time on Father's Day 2013. Happened to get paired up with J. Allred, former touring PGA pro who was practicing for the Monday qualifier/Rex Hospital Web.com event.
The course is challenging but fair with only a few blind tee shots. The greens are huge and the traps are well positioned. We played the Blue tees from over 6800 yards with a lot of the back 9 markers near the tips. I would certainly play the course again even with the very tough back to back tough Par 4's, Holes 15 & 16.
My round was made complete by an Eagle on Hole 17!!
