Grass Clippings at Rolling Hills
Played On 12/17/2023Par 3 Haven
This is the 2nd time that I have played the course. It is a fun course with plenty of challenges with the hills but very little sand. There is still a great deal of the course that lacks turf in the rough. On the 10th hole, my GPS said 260 yards but the hole was closer to 170 yards. All the other distances were good. I wish we were allowed to drive the carts to the range prior to play. That is an annoyance. Can’t wait to get back there!
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Links Course
Played On 02/11/2017Great course. Only complaint is that for high handicappers, it is very easy to go out of bounds. Biltmore is a real jewel in the desert.

Great course for beginner to intermediate player. Wide open. Drink cart person brought us cups of ice without being asked which was a really nice touch.
Arizona Biltmore Golf Club - Estates Course

Played yesterday morning. Course was slightly brown in spots but a joy to play. It is a very forgiving course which is an essential for high handicappers like myself. Only saw the drink cart 2-3 times in the entire round which wasn't a problem for me but may be for others.
Mountain Shadows Golf Course
Played On 8/24/2013Executive Paradise
Great little executive course to sharpen your skills. Features all of the amenities of a full sized course (sand traps, approach shots, hazards) minus 1-2 wood/hybrid shots per hole. This shortens play time considerably but allows you to work on what really counts on the real course. I have learned that the driving range may be coming down and that the par 4's will be changed to par 3s in order to eliminate the first two holes should a sale go through to redevelop the property. This would be a loss for the course but unfortunately a necessity for the course's survival.
