Omni Amelia Island Resort - Ocean Links
Played On 08/27/2017Funky but worth it!!!
This course has some wonderful holes but because of the wind coming off the ocean, plan on hitting struggling at times.
Players never return to the clubhouse until after 18 holes, and the signs need to be better to get from hole 6-7, and from 18- back to the clubhouse. If you plan for the 'quirky stuff ', you'll be rewarded with 5 ocean holes that allow you to watch waves break while putting. Very few courses allow for view like this ....so enjoy!!!
Omni Amelia Island Resort - Oak Marsh

This is a wonderful course that should be played if you love golf and beautiful views. My only issue was the size of the driving range but I've played wonderful old courses who have no range at all.
The secret that must be done (even if it costs you a lost ball) is to make sure to play the 16th from the Gold teeing area. You'll be treated to one of the best views on the entire island.
Don't miss playing this course!

This is a wonderful course in a wonderful area. No two holes is alike and multiple tees make for a true challenge for all golfers.
The Amelia River Club

I've played most of Amelia Island and I really like this course. Great practice areas and the course has two different feels from the front 9 to the back 9. I was shocked by the amount of land (the course being on an island) for a course like this. You will enjoy your time and enjoy the natural beauty.
Omni Amelia Island Resort - Oak Marsh
Played On 09/05/2015A Better Layout than Ocean
People may rip me but if you want a better golf course (not the views), play here and skip Ocean. This course has some beautiful views/holes, and it is just friendlier. This is a sneaky good track
Agree with your comment about this being the better of the Omni tracks. The Ocean Course has five holes with beautiful views of the Atlantic (and the accompanying winds). The rest of the course is fine but not memorable. The other thing about the Ocean course is that it seems to attract a lot of recreation golfers who refuse to fix their ball marks on the greens. As for the The Oak Marsh course, it is a more interesting layout, challenging and in better condition. And while the marsh is not the ocean, many of the views are quite beautiful.
