Been playing here alot. The greens were aerated but were warned. It ws ok. The staff sucked. Not knowledgeable when I aks about pin placement and carts were not available even though they were slow to wash and turn them around for use.

The course layout and challenge of golf is there. But the challenge of grass in bunkers, animal holes in fairways, large leaves on and unkept greens and fairways and losing balls in fairways was unexpected.

Where to begin let me tabletize:
1. Grass growing in sandtrap.
2. No sand in bunkers.
3 greens like a shag rug.
4. Animal holes in fairway.
5. No grass in fairways.
6. Overpriced

Like a pidgeon, the course is tough and you have to be aware of the course and not be complacent. But it’s dirty and rundown. Not the glamorous redhawk as in past. The tee boxes look like ground under repair. The parking lot driveway needs new asphalt as potholes are popping up. And the golfer etiquette is no where to be found so the pace of play is so as players do not wave fast players by. I played Glen Ivy in Corona and it’s what Redhawk use to be and the etiquette.

Cross creek has great deals and is a very challenging course for intermediates. I love it. But my buddies live far and don’t want to play it all the time. Once a month oh well

Wow narrow fairways and small greens. I hit great approach shots that could not hold the hard greens. Need to aerorate!!

The course is your typical California Muni, but for me it's become special. I broke 80 for the first time, and it was at this golf course. Enjoyed the layout where you have to play both a fade and draw off the tee in many holes.
