Fairways, greens and traps were in very good condition. Lots of doglegs and occasional hidden water trouble near the greens, so with no GPS or maps to show the way, you can get surprised if it's your first time playing. Fortunately we were playing with a retired teaching pro who had played the course several times and could provide help. Nice Nicklaus design and a good value. We'll be back.

This is a great course that has seen better days. Good interesting layout. But conditions were more muni level. There had been a lot of rain that impacted fairways and bunkers, but that aside, the tee boxes and greens and signage were also spotty from lack of care. Hope Callaway will put some $ and care into maintenance this summer when the rain subsides.

It was a nice course but I was expecting more given the price and the Trump brand. We were particularly disappointed in the lack of service and the confusion from bag drop to the first tee,, and from the cart return back to our car. Basically do it yourself, and it was a trek with little direction on where to go. There was no marshal to address slow play, which was needed given the variability among the players on the course.

The Chateau course is good golf challenge comparable to many other North Georgia courses, though not as hilly as many of them. The greens and bunkers were in great shape, and the fairways were fine though hard and dry. The practice facilities were fairly basic, which surprised us since it hosts a Dave Pelz short game program.

Very enjoyable round of golf, fun layout, challenging shot making. very good conditions. The fairways still need to green up a bit, and the greens were recovering from aeration. The sand bunkers were very hard due to recent rains and needed to be tilled and/or topped off. Was very pleased with the customer service and the attention paid to guest satisfaction.

This course is better than most on HHI and a much better value! The course is lovely, in good condition, and fun to play. There are plans in the works to close the course and redevelop it into more housing. Hope that doesn't happen anytime soon. For now, the course is well maintained and staffed.

Last week we played six courses in or around HHI and this was the least interesting. Conditions of the course were decent but not nearly as good as many of the alternative courses around. Sand traps were SAD.

Beautiful challenging course! Expect to lose strokes around the greens, which are hard, quick, and sloped. It takes a well placed ball to hold the green and a delicate putt to find the bottom of the cup. Four footers are not gimmes!
