The rock is the closest course to my house, but it’s a bit pricey for me and the long standing history of 5 hr rounds, is why I only play here once a year. ( And hopefully on a deal)
This course gets a lot of play and it shows in places, especially the greens. They were quick and true, just a lot of divot marks. We had a good amount of rain the day before so we were Carr path only.
Our pace as a 4some was good. 4hrs 20 minutes, but I kept hitting away from the paths or it could of been better. All bunkers were great and had rakes!!! YEAH!!!

Played as a 4 some in 3.5 hrs for a 11:40 tee time on a Thursday. Course is in as good as shape as ever! Played last year and mentioned the bunkers needed some love. Well, contrary to recent reviews, the bunkers were good. Most needed some sand, but all of them have been attended to recently. More then I can say about a lot of courses coming out of quarantine.
White tees are about 6400 but doesn’t feel that long. It was nice to see a difference from fairways to rough. Tees and greens were in great shape and rolled fast. For some reason they put the hole on 18 in the 6 foot area of the green that was beat up. Still a good day of golf for a good price.

Played here and reviewed two weeks ago. Gave a generous 4 star review because things were so much better then the last time I played this AWESOME track
Playing again so soon allowed me to see the conditions a little more. Still a bit rough. A couple greens are pretty beat up, Most are good, all are playable. It’s 3+ stars over all. GREAT course layout and conditions will hopefully continue to get better. (Hopefully).

I am so very, VERY happy to see this course turning in the right direction. I have played and reviewed Patriots Glen many times. Have seen conditions go from 4+ stars to 2 stars, and that’s being nice.
The layout is the draw that keeps me coming back. Great holes, nothing straight, forced carry’s, very isolated on most holes. You generally don’t see other holes while playing. Cart paths are good. They roll thru some nice wooded areas that are great on hot and sunny days.
Long and short par 3s,4s and 5s.. they are offering a membership deal that seems good because when this track is truly back at 4 stars again, ( 3 + stars today) expect to pay $60 to $80 . That’s my catch 22. The better it gets, the more people will come, and the more it will cost. Have to seriously consider joining to save the money down the road. Looking forward to seeing Patriots Glen back to where this layout deserves..

I will NOT wait that long again. Played it as Shawnee, as I said before, all I remember is, I didn’t hate it.
Definitely 4+ stars. Almost everything was in great shape! 90% of tees, fairways, greens and bunkers! Greens were quick 5 par 3s, 4 of which average 160 from the whites.
Fairly wide open. My playing partner and I only lost 1 ball each, on the same hole!! We’re both bogey golfers and did spray it around a bit, but found it, had a fair shot back into play, and moved on.
Par 70, just under 6000 yards from whites. Nicely tree lined fairways, and above average landscaping on the course. Water does move thru on a few holes. 17and 18 are long par 5 and 4. TOUGH finishing holes.
Got a great deal but will definitely not mind paying more. Definitely recommend, at any price around $60. My opinion. You will not be disappointed!!!

Any time you get a chance to play this course, on a fabulous weather day, and for the cost of the deal I got, you take advantage of it!! 5 star course, all around. The rough was high today. Hard to find sometimes just off the fairway. It cost me a couple strokes today. Greens were a little thin in some spots, but were fast and near impossible to hold in some spots. Always worth the trip. Always 5 stars.

Haven’t played here much in past few years, but I always like this course. The layout is tough, short and long par 4s nice elevation changes, greens have ALWAYS run fast. They still do but need some TLC in a few places. They have “softened “ the course on a few holes over the past 4-5 years. ( 4, 10,13 and 16) Biggest beef for me was no flag sticks. I understand COVID and all, but luckily I’ve played this course dozens of times so I have knowledge. If you come to play for the first time, hopefully you get paired with someone who has played before. Or at least bring a GPS option for your self.

First off, sorry to the group I buzzed with my ball while I was playing the 190+ yard uphill par 3. First time playing and ended up playing by myself. A little knowledge would of helped.
Played the first weekend available after covid restrictionists lifted. Chapel hill had 3-4 days notice they could open. The greens were the best part of the course. Almost everything was shaggy. Including the MANY area’s of dandelions.( hopefully I can figure out how to post a photo) The ones you pick up and blow into the wind. Made it very hard to find a golf ball. Frustrating. I spoke to a regular and he said it’s as if they did nothing. From what I saw, I’d agree.
I liked the elevation changes thru the course and the fair amount of water around.. mostly straight forward and a couple tight shots. a little over 6000 yards from the back tees. Some bunkers were unplayable, and not because of rain.
Chapel hill is 60 miles from my house. If I get a deal, I might goback and hope to see the course in better shape.

Walked 9 holes during covid. For the first time in my life. Have not played here in a couple years due to poor reviews of poor conditions. Had read a couple positive things, but didn’t see much happening. Again, maybe because of covid? Whatever. Played the front 9. Most of everything was rough. I’m giving a generous 3 stars at this time. MAYBE I’ll try again at the end of the season, and HOPEFULLY it gets back to past firm. Fingers crossed!!!

I have play here on and off for 30 years Have seen course ups and downs. Nice to see some work going on with clearing of trees. Hope they keep working because it need a lot of love. Tough par 3s. . . Airation of back 9.

Course is in great shape. They told us no rakes and leave the pin in. In our current state, completely understandable. Great deal and will return again later this season

Nice course. Some water. Some woods. Very wide open. Greens were definitely a plus. I’d like to remind other players to please be quite when someone is addressing the ball. Last two rounds I’ve booked on line, my pair has been paired with another pair that had a problem being quite. I figured if your using the site, you should have that figured out by now. Just needed to get that out.

Showed up at 9:30 for our 10:06 tee time. We’re told they just started letting people play after an hour and a half frost delay. Our foursome went off at 11 and were done at 2:20. Awesome pace. Course is in nice shape for the time of year . All the bunkers I saw, and the 2 I was in, had sand in them and were All raked. I couldn’t find a rake when I needed one, but it was great to be able to play out of them. The course is predominately flat and has a nice amount of water to try to avoid. Very open, very playable for anyone. Greens were as expected, a little bumpy and slow, but consistent and generally rolled true. I’ve been playing 30-35 rounds a year now for about 15 years, am a 17 hdcp, and today was the first time I got 3 birdies in a round. 8, 13 and 17. It was fun to play the rookery again after 10+ years. And I will definitely be back sooner then that.

One of the top 5 i can play in the area in my opinion. Cart path only is always tough here, but our twosome finished in 3hrs 40 minutes. I don’t know why there is sand on greens now, it was a little disappointing. Still a great January day to play and always worth it for a deal.

Centerton has never been 4 or 5 stars. It is what it is. Generally flat, a little water here and there. For January, the course is very playable. Greens looked Bumpy and shaggy but rolled faster then expected Worth the 45 minute drive for the deal. Solid 3 stars. One last question, what Is with black flags on some holes? Very hard to see the pin with a black flag on it

Played Skippack 7 years ago. Only remember “ not hating it”. Got a great early morning deal a couple weeks after COVID restrictions were lifted. WOW!! 95% of the course is in GREAT shape. This course is in the best shape I have seen ANYWHERE in this area, ( I live an hour away) in 3-5 years no lie!!
Course is less then 6000 from tips but does play longer. A bit more open on the front 9, more tree lined and tighter on the back. 2 down hill par 3s over 200 yards (7 and 15). Water does come thru the course. Tees, fairways and greens all well above average, and we finished at 4hrs. It had rained the day before, but the course was remarkably dry, and NOT cart path only. Greens are fast.
Again, sooo glad to have played Skippack right now. Having played a couple other places after golf opened back up, and seen what looks like they did nothing, this track had it all going on today!!!

The highest rated course I’ve played on golf now. 4.7 stars. I’ll give it 4.5. To me, 5 stars is unattainable. Everything would have to be perfect. Tunica was in very good shape all around, just not perfect. Predominantly flat but a good amount of water throughout. Greens were hard and fast. The best $26 round I have ever played. I drove 80 minutes to play Blackwood for a second time this year. Their was a few spots that showed wear and damage from the summer. But, we could see they are working on it. Some tee boxes had been aerated. Most were nice as were the greens. Some elevation changes and some water. Over all, well worth the drive for a deal. Also would consider for the asking rack rate of $45 if I lived closer

Course in great shape and beautiful to see. Fast greens. My round was cut short by a group hitting up on me before I even got into my cart on the par 3 6th .not the courses fault. I’ll definitely return.
