Probably my third time playing Heron Point over the past few years, and it's in the best shape I've seen it. The new greens are perfect; they look artificial from the fairways and there wasn't a blemish on them. The overall course was in great condition as well, especially considering it was the end of the summer. The staff is terrific, greeting us at the car, getting us set up quickly, and meeting us on the way in to clean our clubs (Donnie), all with a smile and friendly conversation. Out on the course, we played as a twosome, and we never had to wait. The cart service and snack bar were top-notch, and the new clubhouse is a really nice facility. There's nothing not to like about Heron Point.
