I’ve played at Woodhaven Country Club many times as well as many other golf courses in the desert during the summer months. I would argue that the staff maintains the course better than most others. I played today at 11am and didn’t see a single group the entire round. Tee box, fairways, rough and greens were in great shape, given the heat. The only criticism would be the sand traps are a little dry but they’re well raked and that’s to be expected with the heat. Also, be sure to check the course’s website for a cheaper rate ;)

Just played here yesterday on June 16 and the course was in good shape. However, please know that a decent amount of the tee boxes and a few of the fairways are aerated. Greens are in good shape (as good as you can get in the desert with the heat). Also, this is one of the most popular resorts in the desert, which leads to people on the course. Pace of play was good/decent around 8:30am. The Palms course is definitely busier than the Valley course but both are nice.
