The Golf Club at Champions Circle
Played On 07/24/2018Deceptive Course
Have played this course many times. Always a challenge. Front 9 will tease you thinking the course is wide open and fairly easy then when you get to the back nine everything changes, the back nine squeezes your shots as there are well protected greens waiting. Speaking of greens these were slow as usual but clean and smooth. I rate this course just under Fossil Creek in terms of difficulty.
Riverchase Golf Club
Played On 06/13/2017Nice Round
Teed ff at noonish, finished at 3:30 as twosome. ave played Coyote, Watters, Plantation, Lake Park, and Champion Circle this year and Riverchase had the fastest and smoothest greens. They do not look as pretty as Coyote and Watters but the roll was much more true (Coyote and Watters both generate bounce in your putt due to having to stroke so strongly). Tee boxes (white) were a little patchy but not distracting. Fairways were in excellent condition. This course is quite tight (not as tight as Champion Circle) so bring your management cap. Played on a Tuesday so that is why pace was quick.
The Courses at Watters Creek - Traditions Course
Played On 05/30/2017Very Nice City Course
Very enjoyable round. Able to divot greens (unusual on many Dallas area courses). Greens were clean (no bare spots) but slow and bumpy (bumpy may have been due to how hard you had to hit putts because of slow speed of greens, this was only negative about the course).
Coyote Ridge Golf Club
Played On 09/09/2016excellent condition!
I played with 3 other friends all of same ability. 88 to 93 range (16 - 21 hcp) All the guys were very pleased with the course. No one complained about any part of the course. I've played this course many times, it is challenging and unique to most courses around. The greens are slow to medium speed and hard but good to great conditiin.Tee boxes and Fairways were in excellent condition. The Green's were best I've seen overall in 4 years. It was a windy day so it made it a little more challenging than usual but kept the hole handicaps accurate as the wind was from the SE (the normal direction). Every part 3 but one (14) on this course is difficult from the Blues. Unless you are a 10 hcp or under the 5s are true 5s. Nice challenging course. I had 3 triple bogeys (wind from SE at 15mph) and shot a 96. Wind 5 to 10 mph and I shoot an 89 to illustrate how a higher wind from SE will affect your game.
Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course

The Golf Club at Champions Circle
Played On 08/31/2015Tight course
Many narrow fairway holes but also some wide open. A great variety of holes allows for a challenging round. Greens were in very good condition but not soft.
Enjoyed my round, as usual
