Conditions are not excellent as prior reviews saud
I had heard the conditions were not great, but recent reviews indicated they were excellent, so I went. While not bad for the drought conditions, it's only average. There are lots of weeds on the tees and encroaching on some greens. The one bunker I hit out of was rock hard. It was worth the discounted price, but don't go expecting excellence.

Horrible pin positions
I used to play this course a lot, but I have switched to other courses primarily because of the ridiculously unfair pin positions they choose. Almost all of the pins are about 6' from the edge of some of the largest greens around. If a pin is not hanging off the edge, it is placed right next to a ridge. There is no reason for this and it really detracts from play.
