The course was in average condition for winter. Greens were good. Bunkers we terrible. Little sand and the liners sticking out.
Oakcreek Country Club

I have played this course before and enjoy it. But this trip they charged a premium price when the clubhouse was closed, they were doing work on the course that impacted a couple holes, and w workers had no consideration for golfers. You can’t charge premium prices under those conditions. Next trip I will try the other courses.

Pace of play took over 5 hours, late teeing off in the afternoon S
Carts were not available. Course condition and paths were horrible. Tried something new and won’t go back.

This course will not allow you to step up and bang the driver on every hole. You must think about tee shots and then many approach shots will have hazards to catch your attention.
Rancho Bernardo Inn

Wonderful course layout. No mention of the fact that the practice facilities were closed when booking this course. No warm-up lessened the experience
Pala Mesa Resort

The layout of this course creates challenges but is fair. Fairways are very rough due to the Drought and lack of water.

Nice layout. Will challenge your club selection prowess with the hills. They need water, fairways were marginal. Pace of play needs help.

I enjoy the course. Challenging elevation changes, accuracy needed on many holes, driveable par 4's, all make it desire able to a golfer BUT, I've only played there twice and both times groups ahead are slow, screwing around and holding up play to where other golfers left the course rather than finish. Carts are in bad shape. The course is wonderful but management is poor.
