Played On 06/24/2019Great until ranger told us to hurry up.
Really enjoyed playing the course. Good layout and in good shape. We have a foursome of two decent players and two that weren’t as good. We let a single player play through who caught up to us. However after about 8 holes the ranger game out and told us to pick up our pace even though no one waited at tee box because of us. I understand if people are waiting behind us and I am aware of this always when I play. It was also like the evening and just few groups on the course. Course was in great shape but it did ruin the vibe after that!

Course was in good shape and staff was friendly! The course layout is forgettable . Par 3s were below average. Course plays tight so left Driver in the bag on most holes. Overall was disappointed with design.

This course has a really good layout with a lot of unique holes. Greens weren't at their best but not as bad as everyone seems to make them be. I had to move my ball maybe twice to avoid some bad spots but it wasn't a big deal! Still enjoyed the round and would play again.

Tampa Area courses are all dry right now, but I thought fairways and greens were in good shape considering drought. We played southern hills plantation in Brooksville, and they are even experiencing drought conditions. I would def play this course again.
Thank you for you review. Staff friendliness is something we pride ourselves on and by your account we fell short of those expectations. We strictly adhere to pace of play of 4 hours and 15 minutes but try to do so in a kind manner. What we find typically happens that even if you don't see a group in front or behind you at the time if your group is falling behind pace we try and catch the issue before a group on pace end up catching you. We try and be proactive instead of reacting after its too late. Regardless of that we want everyone of our staff to do so in a professional and kind manner. I hope this lets you know how much we appreciate you sharing your experience with us as we value each and every guest that chooses to spend their hard earned money here.
