Rio Pinar is a very nice old grown in golf course. The course was built in a very low area and has always had drainage problems. I played it a day after several days of rain and it was very wet on the fairways. Even in the trees there was a lot of water. I would have recommended the course rope off more of the very wet areas to keep the carts away. Also the sand traps were very wet but we just played them as ground under repair, thus no problem. Knowing the course would be wet I still came out to play and had an enjoyable day, The greens are in wonderful shape and dry. Very friendly staff and nice clubhouse. If you do not like wet conditions try and find a high and dry course (good luck right now) but if you want a fun challenging track try Rio.
