The fellow in the pro shop and the starter were very friendly. The pace on the front was super but things slowed down on the back 9. Course is in good shape all over. We will come back.

The course is in great shape in most spots. I played the front tees thinking it was the yardage on the card but soon re that they were changing the tees and distances up. It turns out that they are putting in a new tee box. So be aware. ladies the front ( red ) tees are very short. Next time Imwill,play greens. I wish they had told me that at check,in.Imfound out at the end of the round when Imasked in the shop.People are very friendly and the course is in great shape. Definitely worth a come back.

We have not played here before but will return. The course in all areas was in excellent shape. The people were very friendly and informative. It was a very windy day which made it difficult but that is golf. It is a wide open course, no flowers or many trees but other obstacles such as sand. Lots of it.

We were lucky that it seemed a quiet day. They let us off a bit early and we sailed around in 3 hours, staff here is always really friendly and tries to please .Greens we’re running slow and likely needed a closer cut but the course is in very good shape.

We have played this course many times and always enjoyed it. Yesterday the fairways in some cases were bare sand and many greens are really rough with bumps and sand patches. It looks as if they are doing little or no maintenance. Very disappointing.

This course is a par 70 but do not be fooled . It has defined challenges with ample water and very narrow tracks. A bit hard to find the blue tee boxes on a couple of holes . They are not very well marked for newcomers,
All in all it was in good shape I would recommend it.

This was our first time playing Deer Island. The course is in terrific shape and is quite challenging. Water comes into play on every hole and there are bunkers all around too.
We were looking forward to a cool one for the 19th hole but everything was closed up by 3 p.m.
Ii would go back though and would recommend others to give it a try.

A couple of greens are hurting right now but overall it is in fine shape . Friendly folks and always fun to play.

This was the first time at this course for us. The people were super friendly and helpful. The course was in good shape and I would have given it another star except for the fact that there are no restrooms on the course.

We have played here before and today the course looked good, actually grea5 improvements. Out only issue is with the length. The front ( ladies ) tees are too long for lots of ladies and the next ( white ) is too short for most senior men but next forward from that is too long. They need to re adjust some lengths to accommodate more players.
However course conditions were good. The pace started slow but thankfully the slow group ahead passed us and another group through. Without that it would have been a 5 hour day..

We have played here many times and it is always good. Today the pace of play was excellent. The people are always friendly and the restaurant is a good place to have a pleasant lunch. It is a good layout and the course conditions today were very good. We will be back as soon as we can.

We played blue and white yesterday. Pace of play on the front was fine but on the second or back nine there was a group of 5 infront of us. I am not sure how that happened but it slowed everything down. Overall we were 4 hours 35 minutes. Also the group of 5 drove within about 15 feet of greens and everywhere on the par 3's. There was no marshal that we could talk too. The course itself was in very good shape and was good value for the money I .I would recommend it.
One other thing is that the restrooms on the course have no sinks or toilet paper or soap. Especially during covid we found this to be very strange. Restrooms need a sink to was hands.

We have played here several times and like the layout of the course. Today the conditions were very poor. Greens ran well and tee boxes were good but the fairways were hard packed with no grass in many places. Run outs were full of sand but no grass. That made conditions tough. We will not be back for awhile. Maybe things will improve.

Friendly staff, great pace of play , a good course to return to.

We have played this course in the past but today the course was in such poor shape that we will not likely be back. The fairways are full of crabgrass, the bunkers are a mess and the greens have lots of bald patches. The power carts have rips and tears in the seats and are not clean.
The only staff we saw was at check in and she was friendly.
The layout is decent and if it had lots of maintenance it would be on our list to play again.But I mean lots of maintenance. Right now it is not worth it even for a very cheap price.

Staff very friendly. Greens were good but fast. Tee boxes also pretty good. The fairways are in need of grass . Lots of bare spots. The course in general needs some maintenance. WE would go back but would not likely take company there.

We usually enjoy this course. It is on the short side and can usually be played in well under 4 hours. This time, however it was busy and quit3 slow,.Course was in pretty good shape except for a couple of greens at the beginning. Staff is friendly and efficient. We will go back.

We had never played this course before but were very pleased .Greens were in great shape and although the fairways had been drilled which limited the roll of the ball, the play was good. It is a nice layout with lots of pretty views. We will be back.
