Terrific golden age design with wonderfully complex greens and strategic play options from the tees. Condition in early spring was A+. Will return as soon as possible.

Plum Creek has a great location, easy to get to from anywhere on the north side of Indy metro. Good layout nice conditioning great staff and country club amenities at a public course.
The only issue is pace of play, our afternoon round took four hours 50 minutes. This has been fairly standard in my experience, and one of the reasons why I don't play there often.

Read the reviews before I played which were all over the place. Good thing I payed attention to the positive reviews! The Pine Barrens course is a perfect blend of modern and classic golf architecture. Want big? Perfect golf terrain and soil? Want challenging and well designed greens complexes? Want to be rewarded for good shots? Be challenged to make par when a shot goes astray? Not have the nuisance of searching for balls? The PB course is your answer. As a fan of classic golf architecture - I can confidently say that Fazio hit the mark! By the way - I played the course after a torrential downpour and never had a bad lie when I hit my intended line. A great experience - can't wait until I return.
