Played here for the first time this year, but have played many times in the past. This is probably the worst condition I have seen it in. Grass not maintained well(didn't appear to have been cut in a while) and mostly weeds and clover. It would be a nice course otherwise if properly maintained.

Very expensive if you are a non-Florida resident ($90 +) and definitely not worth the money. For that price the course should be in pristine condition, which it wasn't. There was not anything special about the course. There are similar courses in Orlando where you can pay $50 for a round. Dining options are limited, since the only choices are in the Shades of Green resort next door. On the positive side, the staff was great.

Lots of brown on the course, and it looked like it hadn't been watered in a while. Wouldn't recommend playing until later in the season. Not sure if there was a helipad nearby, but we had helicopters consistently flying over the course , so if the noise bothers you that could be a problem. Took us almost 5 hours to play 18 so it was very slow. On the bright side, the staff was great and we had a nice lunch in the restaurant

We were staying at the Marriott, so decided to play here since it was convenient. Out of the five courses we played while in Orlando, this was probably in the best shape. They have a good irrigation system, so the grass was actually green vs. Celebration, Falcon's Fire etc. where we felt like were playing in straw the whole time. The course is short(all par 3's & 4's) so were were able to finish 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours. Staff was very friendly, and there is a good restaurant on site. Would recommend playing here.

Would not recommend playing this time of year but might try again when the course is in better condition. The grass was almost entirely brown so it was like playing off of straw. Otherwise, probably not a bad course at a different time of year. Took us five hours to play 18 holes so extremely slow. Played this course on a Friday afternoon in October. Course was not in good shape. Brown spots all over, and on top of it, rough had not been cut in a while. Fairways are close together on some parts of the course, so it was common to have folks from neighboring holes hitting off our fairway. Best part about this place is the nice patio/restaurant. Probably wouldn't play here again.

The course is nice enough and in decent shape, but pace of play was very slow. Took us 5 1/2 hours to play on a Saturday afternoon and we never saw a ranger the entire round. Probably would not play on a weekend again.

First time playing here and enjoyed this course. The only downside was that there wasn't a full restaurant - only a small kitchen serving your basic sandwiches/hotdogs. Would definitely come back.

Played here for the first time and enjoyed the course. It was in great shape and the views are excellent. Only downside was the restaurant. Out of all the places we've played in AZ, this was the only bad meal we've ever had at a course.

Played here on a Saturday afternoon. Took us over 2 1/2 hours to play the first 9, so instead of playing the back 9, we played the front over again, since it was less crowded. Very slow play and no rangers. As mentioned in other reviews, fairways are much too close, and balls were constantly flying onto our fairway from other holes. Would only play here again during an off time when not so crowded, since otherwise the course was in good condition and nice enough.

Staff was very friendly and course was in good shape. Would recommend this course.

Love playing this course. This is the fifth time I've played and it is always perfectly maintained. The only down side is that they are constantly doing maintenance on the course. Each one of the five times I've played(different times of year,) the staff has been on the course cutting/mowing etc.

Have played here 5 times, and conditions were pristine as usual. This is probably my favorite course in the Scottsdale area, with some of the best scenery. Staff is super friendly.

Would like to try this course again at a different time of year, but not in good shape at all right now. Lots of brown grass, grass clippings left in rough etc. Carts not allowed on fairway, so expect lots of walking, since course is not flat. Scenery was beautiful though.

This is the 3rd time I've played Rancho(all different times of year,) and it was in great shape as usual. Some of the nicest scenery around. Highly recommend this course. Over seeding was done a while ago, so carts were allowed on course.
