Great course for testing your course management skills. This course has everything you want to challenge your game. A couple greens were in bad shape but overall rated A.

Top level Course and highly recommended for all levels of play.

Skybrook really tests your game. I’m a 12-13 handicap and the greens were good, some bad spots but overall the speed was good. Not too fast or too slow, I made some great putts! They need to work on the fairways several wet areas and dirt spots on many. Look forward to playing it again in a few weeks and break 80. AB

The geeens were fast and firm. The course does not drain well at all. It didn’t rain in over a week and around the greens was very wet and soggy. We had to pickup and hit from fairway. Even most fairways were still wet and hard to hit out. I was shocked it was this wet.

I drove over an hour from Charlotte in Dec. and it was well worth it. I’m a 12 handicap and Play lots of golf at quality courses around North and South Carolina. I think the greens on this course are some of the best in the area. They are fast, firm and easy to play on. The course is not long at all and has some pretty good challenging holes. Especially the Par 3 #7 Island shot over water and the longer Par 3 #15 downhill that slope to the right. You can play the back tees and have a fun round.

This course was as good as they get for a public course. It compares to Private courses like Firethorne CC , Cabarrus CC, etc. I played in Jan 2017 and the greens were firm and fast. It plays long and has some challenging holes. Bring your "A" game to this gem, it's well worth the drive to Lancaster, SC.

The course was great. Well maintained and greens were all fast. One of the most challenging courses in CLT area. Would have broke 80 if it wasn't for my bad play on 17 & 18!

This is a very good course. The issue I had was that it does not drain very well after it rained 4-5 days prior. Several holes were still very wet on the front nine.

This is the best Public course and the greens were very fast. The landscaping was awesome and the layout was great and challenging.

I think this is one of the best public courses in Charlotte. It plays shorter, but it's in great condition. The greens are well maintained and very fast. A low handicap can par this course if you keep it in the fairway. Very nice layout.

The course was like most challenging courses with hills, water and plenty of bunkers. You probably won't make your handicap the first time out. Plays long and you really have to be on your game.

Good only a few challenging holes. Pretty open course.

The course is very good. I love playing here, but I wish I had known they were doing the golf course aeration.

I love playing at Rocky River. I have played here about 12 times and it would great to have a tournament here.
