The course is great plenty of room but lots of water on every hole. With all of the rain lately the mosquitoes have increased their population so take bug spray.

Played early morning the greens are always good here..Just two of us played in 3 hours

What a great course my favorite in the Orlando area. Lots of water and sand yet plenty of room in the landing area of the fairways. Wildlife everywhere flying and swimming or just laying out in the sun one of the biggest gators around calls this place home. Bring your A game or a lot of balls either way it is a lot of fun to play here.

The weather has been cold but the greens are very smooth and fast. The rough is dormant but the fairways are green. Played at 8:30 Saturday morning and we were done in 4 hours great day.

Really nice course but the fairways had been aerated and the greens had fresh fertilizer and were slower than normal but they should be perfect next week.

Lots of sand not a lot of water greens have plenty of contour lots of really interesting holes well worth the drive even from Orlando.

Not your typical Florida course. More hills then you would think Florida has. Made playing here a challenge up hill down hill and side hill lies every where. The tees are flat and that's about it. Course was fun.

Lots of hills and a desert of sand no water and its in FL. Not in the best of condition right now but very playable. Greens were good but fairways were rough. Still we had a good day. Nice practice areas also.

I'm not a member of this course so maybe that's why the first guy working there that met us at the bag drop acted like I should be some were else and I had to deal with him twice. The other people were very nice and the course was okay but my day had already been derailed.

Played early in the morning greens where mowed and most fairways were done. The greens were firm and very fast the ball rolled true. Fairways should be wide enough but if you stray you will end up in water.

Slow play is killing golf course incomes and this course is looking for new members so why would they put a 5 some of members out there who refuse to let a 2 some play through even when they had at least 2 holes open in front of them.. This is not the kind of people I want to play with daily. If you don't play behind these guys the course is very nice. How do I know they were members Kevin had his name on his bag for everybody to see. They also want more than $2.00 for a candy bar.

The course had about 4 inches of rain this week so the ball wasn't running. Carts had to stay on path but our 3 some still got done in 4 hours. Great course and practice area.

Best greens around lots of wildlife and the nicest staff. Herman in the Pro shop the starter and the dining room staff all provided excellent service. The food and the view from the dining room was great.

Bought member for a day package not treated like one!!!! From parking places to driving range given a little bag of balls and only allowed a little area to hit from members had unlimited balls and lots of room with grass to hit from.My round included lunch and only members can use the front door the rest of us peons have to go around to the back door. I won't be back. Segregation lives at Red Tail

Uphill, downhill, trees, water, sand you can see and play all of them if you don't bring your A game Its not called Howie in the Hills because its flat. Beautiful course can't belive its almost 100 years old.Worth the drive from Orlando.

The rains the last couple of days have really greened this course up greens were smoooth and fast, fairways and tees really nice. If the ponds were full this would be one of the most beautiful courses you could play, still very nice.Its a must play.

The greens have some rough spots that you can see they are working on give it a couple of weeks and it should be really nice again.

Course was in the best shape I've seen over the years. Greens were smooth and faster than usual.

Best course I've played this winter. I will be going back before I head back to the snow and cold.
