This course is a good facility to practice your game, especially if you have not played for a while. My fellow players were pleasant and the staff was excellent. Also, other groups were considerate especially since some of the players in my group were quite slow. I have had some bad experiences with players in other groups, particularly on municipal courses. Not on this course! The course layout is not challenging, but that is what a practice facility is for. A good facility for working out kinks in your game but still fun to play. A good value for the money. Just don't bring your single digit handicapper "friends" there. I will be back!

This experience was consistent with Ocotillo's normal high standards. Course was well maintained and well managed by the staff. The course and surroundings are beautiful and bring a new meaning to "Arizona Golf". On the subject of course layout, it would be helpful if there could be included a set of men's tees that are somewhat shorter than the current men's tees (that are NOT the ladies tees!). The issue is that since there are a great number of holes where the approach shot to the green is over water, many of us older guys are consistently forced to lay up rather than risking a long shot over water. This might also improve the pace of play. A similar additional set of tees might also be appreciated by the ladies.
