1: All around too dry…rough was good height but dry as a bone so almost like hitting off hard pan.
2. Fairways not much better..they were green and not too shabby but a little dry and hard in some places.
3. Greens were super fast..greens are nice sizes and shapes with good undulations but tough to read breaks because they were so fast. Wouldn’t complain if less undulating but any speed past the hole going down hill almost wont stop…be below the hole at all costs.

Played LAGC in what is considered late spring...all the flowers and trees in bloom. Grass has been green and out of dormancy since late February EXCEPT at LAGC. The fairways were brown. Barely a blade of green grass on them. Looks like they havent been watered in a month. The rough is green and really considered pastureland instead of grass. The first cut around the greens were almost as short as the green itself..but actually was an 1/8" longer than fairway grass...not exactly plush. But the rough along the fairways could definitely be considered hard pan. This course is in terrible condition and i would barely pay $10 to play it. I have played it at least 20 times and it has never been as this bad as far as i can remember. The one good thing about the course as of right now is the greens. They are in fairly good shape and roll pretty smooth and true. Dont waste your money or time. For the price there are better options.
