The greens were in good shape. A little bit slower than normal. A lot of tee boxes were burned out. A lot of the fairways were burned out. But now that World Woods is closed. It's either Silverthorne or Hernando Oaks!

Fabulous golf course.Nice wide open fairways.Very playable sand traps.Smooth fast greens.Best course in Volusia County.

The course was wet and the greens were brown but they still putted very nicely. The fairways are wide.The greens are good size. I really enjoyed the course. But I hear they are going to close the Jones course for the summer to redo the greens.This is my favorite course in Volusia county!

The course layout was good. Driving range and chipping green and putting greens were good. Once they get the cart paths paved it will be a nice course. My only negative comment would be the place to play. It took us 5 hours to play. There should have been a marshal out there to speed up play.
Oak Hills Golf Club

Don't play there. I played it because it is close to home and I only paid. $7..77. The fairways are so rough I could barely drive the cart on them. Greens are spotty and burned out.
Dunes Golf Club

Don't go!! The fairways have no grass. Mostly weeds. The greens were good if they were not burned out. However, if you want a practice round it is ok. I was the only golfer on the course. I played 2 balls every now and then and still finished in less than 3 hours! Got the tee time on Golf Now for $21.
Hernando Oaks Golf & Country Club

The course was wet from the previous nights rain. The course is ok. There are a lot of bare spots around the course. But the greens are in pretty good shape. We played in just about 4 hours with a four-some.

Don't go. Course layout is fine. There was no grass on the greens. Putting on mud and through puddles. Took over 5 hours to play. Very greens.

Short course with fabulous greens!! Not too tight. They just joined Golf Now. Great bargain for $22.!!!
Rolling Oaks at World Woods Golf Club

World Woods has 36 Championship golf holes. HUGE putting and chipping green. 3 practice holes and a 9 hole par 3 course. The courses are set out in the woods so there are no housing developements. Few side by side fairways. Rolling hills and elevated tee boxes. Plenty of sand and a few lakes. Something for everyone!!!
