If you like to play a course for the layout this ones for you. The greens are not nearly as good as the layout and the routing. I completely enjoyed my round inspite of the poor greens. The base is there but at this time they are inundated with poa. For shot value and genuine shot making challenges its it's great.

Played 4 or 5 years ago and was very disappointed
But it is back to its original condition. Played here often in the 90s and loved it. Glad to see it's come back to its original glory

A very friendly tract in excellent condition. Its been a great conditioned course for the last 4 years. The owners and staff take great pride in serving golfers

The Hills course will challenge any player and any player can play it.
There's a way for any skill level player to get the ball on the green
Good mix of dog legs Par 3s are very good

I liked the course because there were ,multiple options to get the ball on the greens. There was a good mix of holes turning left and right. Fairways were ample

Great place to play The course was superb Greens were having minor issues but the rest is A+ Staff was unbelievably nice The views of Pilot Mountain were very good This is a must play for anybody near Mt Airy

Great layout Greens were slow but they were getting ready to punch Tee to green it was a 10 My 2nd time and won't be the last

Good greens Full fairways Fair rough

Long for ladies Would suggest making their own tees to shorten holes

Layout is fun Can have tough pin placements

Played whites Rough is very penal Enjoyed the variety of holes Tough course foe lafies

Front was open and challenging Some very nice holes Good par 3s on both sides

Back nine is short and tight but fair and rewarding Aim for 150osts from the tees

Try it and you'll like it

This is a prime example of classic golf architecture and how it stands the test of time. MC Kenzie did a masterful job with the greens complexes here. Many munis are like playing in a shooting gallery ---not here This is a great course, great amenities and super staff PLAY IT next time you are in the Sacramento area

This a magnificent golf course. We had a super time! The course is moderately difficult but the vistas overshadow any questions. At every turn you see a beautiful hole flaked by even nicer views!
