I played here back in the spring and the greens were extremely slow. Not this time, this course is in perfect condition right now. Greens were perfect, rolled very true. Some of the best I've played on in a long time. Fairways were in great shape and the rough was not too deep. Highly recommend this course to all!!

Course is in excellent condition right now. Greens were perfect, rolled true and smooth and they would hold a shot. My only complaint was the lack of a Marshall, to be fair I played late in the afternoon and few courses have Marshall's that late in the day. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and I'm going to bring my wife down here on vacation.

Haven't played this course since 1995. It was good shape, the greens rolled pretty good and were cut at a decent speed. The fairways are wide open and forgiving, if you're looking for a technical course then this one isn't for you. Not the nicest military course I've ever played but well worth the money. If you're in the area and have access to the base then you should check it out.

They punched the greens about 10 days ago otherwise the course gets 5 stars. Course is a fun layout and can be challenging on a few holes.

I don't live in San Diego but come here about once a year, I always make it point to get at least one round in on the North course when I'm here. The greens are in excellent shape right now. They are rolling true and at a decent speed. Most of the military courses are open to the public, if you are an avid golfer in San Diego and haven't played at Admiral Baker then you need to go.

I hate to give an RTJ course a bad review but I have to this time. The greens were the slowest I've played in a long time. There is a lot of undulation on the greens so I understand slowing them up to degree but they were just horrible the day I played, March 11, 2017. Other than that the layout is very challenging and the fairways are excellent. The management at the course were very friendly and helpful. I'm sure I'll play here again and if it is better then I will give a better review.

I'm active duty and play every military course I can. The greens are excellent, a lot undulation on the greens. If the greens were flat then this course would be easy but they're not! Greens were fast and rolled true, the people are among the nicest and most helpful of any course I've played. Highly recommend this to any one. Can't wait for the fairways to green up.

This is a nice course, we really enjoyed it. The greens are a little on the slow side, but that is normal for a muni. The fairways were cut really good and the rough was a little on the high side, not complaining about that just stating the facts. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
I look forward to coming back.

Course is in great shape! The new management is excellent, staff are friendly and very helpful. The course conditions are excellent and the greens are rolling true. Highly recommend this course to everyone!

Our first time playing here. Course is in great shape and lots of fun. The greens were a little slower than I expected/desired but they roll true. We will be back for sure.
