Great Par-3 Course

My wife and I were both impressed with this course. It was in great condition, very plush. They have done a great job with various flower and shrub plantings around the tee areas. The trees are mature and, along with the plush, green condition of the course, it made for a nice walk. Pace was a bit slow only because of a very slow two-some a couple of groups ahead of us (interesting how you can play so slow, even when one player is driving a cart). Nonetheless, we got around the course in around an hour-and-a-half, which was fine. Highly recommend playing this delightful par-3 course. Kudos to the folks that maintain and operate the course.

Great Course - Great Day

The experience playing TPC Harding Park could not have been better. The course is challenging, but not unfair and not impossible. It was in great shape considering the amount of public play they get. The greens were especially nice; consistent and true. The pace of play was great, again considering the amount of public play. We played the round in around 4 hours and 30 minutes, which seemed very reasonable given the fact that their tee sheet was full. I got a GolfNow hot deal for $79 and that was really a great value. One of my playing partners is a local, and he said that he pays $61 as a resident. The other two players were in town on business and said that they paid $200 each; not sure on that one. They did charge me $14 for a pull cart rental, which is a bit pricey. It's an easy walking course, with or without a pull cart. Just a beautiful venue, a wonderful design, and a delightful day.

Great Experience

The Greg Norman course was everything I had hoped it would be. Challenging, with a design that offered a lot of variety, but not overly difficult. I played it from the whites, around 6250, and that was more than enough course for me (10 handicap). The course is in excellent condition; better than a lot of the private clubs from my hometown. The practice facilities were equally good and your green fee entitles you to full use of the range and chipping area. The fairways are relatively wide and forgiving, but the desert comes into play if you stray. All-in-all, it was a wonderful experience which I plan to repeat.

A Real Golf Experience

This is a great course. Arnold Palmer's design features mean a lot of variety, a lot of challenges, and a lot of bunkered greens. But, it's not super intimidating and is very playable, at least from the 6300 tees. In addition to this well designed and extremely well maintained course, you get to experience nature at its best. Our group encountered no less than 15 big-horn sheep. We saw a group of 4 or 5 coming down to drink some water from one of the many ponds. We saw a half-dozen big-horn walking through the bunkers surrounding the 16th green. We saw 5 or 6 big-horn navigating their way along side the mountains that surround the course. And finally, we had a big-horn walk down beside us as we teed it up on the 13th tee. The whole experience was exceptional. I was fortunate to catch a nicely discounted rate, but was still able to easily play all 18 holes. This really is an exceptional course and unique experience.

Good Course for the Money

Got what I expected in this course. Nothing fancy, but in good shape and a very good value for the price paid on GolfNow. We had the first tee time in the morning, so we had the course to ourselves. Not a big challenge, but enough to make it interesting and worthwhile.

Great Experience

My wife and I played Legacy on a Wednesday, teeing off around noon. There was not a lot of play and we went off on our own; we moved along freely and finished the round in a little over 3 hours. The course was in very good shape, especially considering all of the rain as of late. It was a nice design, with some woods and water mixed into the layout. The greens were very good and fairly fast. We noticed as we checked in that a lot of folks were dining in the restaurant, so after the round we sat down for a drink and something to eat. We were very pleased to find out that they have a happy hour from 3-6. I was especially pleased to find out they had a wide selection of beers, including Summit Saga IPA on tap. They also have excellent hamburgers. We ate and drank for a very affordable price, making the whole experience very positive. We will definitely return.

Love This Course

If you enjoy the mountain and desert experience in one course, this is the place to play. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains (including Four Peaks), and holes that are carved from the desert. The course is in great condition and provides a nice challenge. With multiple sets of tees, you can challenge yourself as much or as little as you want; we played a Gold/Silver mix that put us at around 6350 yards. Weather conditions were perfect; the course I suspect always gets a little breeze due to the elevations. We teed off at 1:54pm and finished around 6:20, so the pace was fairly nice without much waiting. I really like this course (played it twice now) and would highly recommend it as being a true Arizona golf experience.

Great Course and Great Value

I played the Lakes course and had a great experience. Got there about 45 minutes ahead of my tee time and hit some balls on the range; the range is included in the golf fee. I signed up as a single and was paired with 3 others, all nice folks. The course is moderately difficult, playing a bit over 6000 yards from the whites. The last 2 holes are really a challenge, and are great holes. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition. The rough is not watered, but you can still easily play out of the rough. The pace of play was amazingly good, especially so when considering that the course was full. We finished our round in a bit under 4 hours.

Okay Course

Nothing fancy here, but a solid course with a moderate level of difficulty. They do not water the rough, so it is fairly dried out, but the fairways and greens are in very good shape. Some nice water holes that add to the challenge and scenic value. Got paired up with some great folks from Calgary and had a great time. For the money I would say that this is a decent value.

Great course and experience.

My biggest concern in playing this Pete Dye course was the pace of play. I had scheduled a 1:10pm time to get the twi-light rate and was hopeful that I would be able to complete all 18 holes. No need to worry as the pace was very good. The course was full but play moved along well. We finished in 4.25 hours and the sun was just going down behind the mountain when we finished.
Very nice course. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. This is s a typical Pete Dye layout; very challenging. Greens are mostly elevated, undulating, and difficult to hit. Lots of deep traps and water. But, an interesting design.
There were a few non-golf glitches; no one at the bag drop when I first arrived, the cart lady advised our group at 3pm that she and the beverage cart were going off-duty (kind of early we thought), and it was tough to find anyone to get us back to the parking lot when our round ended (it's a long walk from the parking lot to the golf shop area). But overall it was a very good experience and a great course. I thought it was a very good value with the Golfnow discount.

Beautiful course; great value

Heritage Palms is in excellent condition and provides a fair challenge to golfers of all levels. Driving areas are fairly wide, but the greens are typically raised and surrounded by traps. I played in a shotgun event and the pace of play was surprisingly good. The format gave me an opportunity to meet some nice folks from Canada and Texas. Of the 6 courses I've played thus far in the Palm Springs area (including TPC Stadium and La Quinta Resort Mountain course) I would rate Heritage Palms as the best value and course I would want to play again.

Great Course and Great Value

The course is really in excellent condition throughout. Consistent greens and all in nice shape. If anything the traps were a bit inconsistent, with some being pretty firm and dried out. Overall this was a good experience. You cannot say enough about good and friendly service and virtually everyone I encountered, from the pro shop to the starter to the on-course rangers/player assistants, were very friendly and helpful; that made for a good experience.

Scenic and Challenging

The course is worth playing for the views on the backside. As you get to 14 thru 17 you'll encounter some very scenic, challenging, and unusual hole designs. The greens were in excellent condition throughout. The fairways were a bit inconsistent due to a big storm and flooding that occurred, but the entire course is very playable. The design makes every hole challenging, which I enjoyed.

Got to Play It.

There's a lot of hype about the TPC Stadium course, and for the most part it lives up to it. It is not as monstrous as I thought it would be, which meant that I felt I was playing a very challenging but fair course on which decent scores could be made. The course was in very nice condition and the design is unique; each hole offers it's own set of challenges. Staff were friendly and accommodating all the way around. I caught them at a bit of slow afternoon and was able to play on my own, in 3 hours.

Great Short Course

Though a "par 3" course, the Pebble offers challenging par 3s, not your run-of-the-mill short course. It is in excellent condition and we were very happy with the pace of play; we finished in a bit under 3 hours, despite the fact that there was a fairly slow couple some groups ahead of us that were slowing the entire field down. The course was perfect for my wife, who does not play a lot of golf, and I enjoyed it as well (I do play a lot).

Nice Course: Good Value

I played in a one o'clock shotgun event and signed up as a single. There was a bit of confusion in the pro shop as everyone had to register for the event and the group I was initially paired with had already found a fourth. But the staff found another 3-some to pair me with and all was good. Played with some very friendly fellows from Canada and had a good time. The course was in excellent condition and is moderately challenging, which was fine with me. Overall this was a very good experience.

Great Short Course

My wife and I played Palm Royale mid-week and teed off around noon. The staff was very friendly and helpful in getting us set to play. There were quite a few people playing and we had 2 foursomes in front of us, waiting at the first tee. But, the pace of play was fine. We finished in less than 3 hours. It's a great course to work your short game, with most holes being around 100 - 120 yards long. There are sand traps that come into play, and a lot of water. The greens were in great shape as was the entire course. Most everyone was walking, and it was an easy walk. Good experience overall at a reasonable price.

Solid Course

I played in an 8am shotgun event. It was cool and windy, so that added to the challenge. The course was in great shape and is a nice lay-out; some water and lots of sand. My only complaint would be directed at the pro shop staff. They were not at all helpful in the process. Once they confirmed that my name was on their list they told me the hole that I started on, and to put my clubs on any cart and I was good to go. I had to ask around for directions to my hole and there was no system in place for enlightening me as to who my playing partners were. As a result, 2 of us in our group took separate carts; kind of a waste of resources.
I had signed up for a similar shotgun event 3 weeks prior. When I arrived at 7:15am I was told that there was a one hour frost delay. I was also told that I would have to finish my round by 12:30pm, being as there was another event that afternoon. The pro shop official was dismissive and unconcerned when I noted that I would not be able to play 18 holes in 3.5 hours. As a result I called GolfNow.com and was refunded my money; I didn't play that day.
