The course had been scalped in preparation for over seeding and I didn’t know that until arriving. The condition of the course was terrible but the layout is very interesting and challenging. You can’t just hit driver on every hole like most courses.

This is a good course to take someone out for a round that is still learning the game.

First time playing this course, we played Patriot. The course has a good layout and the greens are challenging. It is very unfortunate that there isn't any sand in the bunkers though. With the pin placements today there were a few holes that if you found yourself in a green side bunker there was almost no chance you were going to be able to hold the green. Nice course but I will not play it again unless they add some sand to the bunkers.

The course is a beauty with the back nine winding through South Mountain. Pulling out the driver and ripping it on all of the par 5's was not always a good idea! The unfortunate part was the pace of play, it took over 5 hours to play 18, thus the average rating. I will play again but it will be in the summer when you shouldn't have to wait at every hole.

If the course wasn't undergoing tee box reconstruction I would have given this course 5 stars. A beautiful layout with challenging holes. Looking forward to playing again after the tee boxes are finished.

The dinosaur course is a real gem in the East valley. Every hole is a photo op. The course was in great condition and challenging, but yet provides plenty of opportunity to score. I will definitely play this course again, soon.

This course has a unique setting, the front nine is out in the desert with nothing built around it. Instead of desert dirt, they have used tiny red gravel which makes for a very clean attractive look. The course was in great condition, the greens are true and challenging. With the summer prices in place this is a great value. The island green on 17 is great!

We arrived at the course well ahead of our tee time and asked if we could go out early if they had an opening, we ended up going out with the next group! The course is in very good condition and provides plenty of challenge, from the well placed bunkers, to the undulating greens and the occasional narrow fairway. With the mountains in the background and the lush green of the course it made for an enjoyable round. The pace of play was excellent for a Sat. morning.

The weather was great, the course is green and the greens are challenging but roll true. The pace of play was rather slow but acceptable. I will golf here again.

Aside from the course being double booked for some of the tee times due to being available on two discount golf sites the course was worth visiting. It was in good condition, the greens are challenging and the price makes it a good value.

if you are looking for a desert course this is not the one for you. This was my first time playing here but I will be back. It was a good course for a hacker like me! Challenging but not intimidating.
