Nice Course Fairly Easy but challenging

The course was in good shape. The fairways are very spacious some of them must be 50 yards wide making the old adage grip it and rip it lots of fun. The greens didn't hold shots as well as other greens we'd played around the area. They seem like they had been re-done with new grass and were very firm even though it had rained for several days. SW or LW with lots of spin that would normally stop or spin back would release several feet. Add to this that a lot of the greens slope away from you adds to the challenge of getting the ball close to pin.

A Nice Friendly Course

This course is a nice course, not overly hard. It has several challenging holes. The greens for February were surprising nice, putts rolled out smoothly. It was very wet due to extreme storms prior to our trip so the fairways were soft with some standing water on some holes. Considering the fact there were tornado watch's the day before the course was in great shape.

Apparently the staff at this course have no respect for disabled vets at this course !!!!!!!!!

First of all I'd like to start off by saying that I'm not one of those whine, cry and get their feelings hurt and runs off crying. I've thought long and hard about writing this review and that's why the delay. The A.D.A. ( American Disability Act) ensures that everyone with a disability will treated fairly and not be discriminated against. I suffer from a condition called Post Thrombotic Syndrome, in layman's terms my leg had complications from numerous surgery's from my injuries causing my blood to constantly to fill my leg. The more I walk the more painful it is. I'm limited to 4-5 hours of activity a day. On the morning of February 25th my buddies and I were excited to play the legendary Oyster Bay. We entered the pro shop and everything was rush rush rush with the staff, I asked for a handicap flag for my cart, the response I got was "it's to wet it's cart path only, if you can't do that I can't let you play"!!!!! I tried to explain to the staff member that even though the other courses we had played earlier were cart path only they still issued me a handicap flag and I'd be extremely careful and not create any damage. The staff member said sorry and turned his back on me. I was flabbergasted up until this point EVERYONE we meet was so helpful and friendly and this guy was a total Douche

Excellent course

The course is a short layout but it has some demanding tee shots. You also have some blind tee shots and lay up shots that require ball placement off the tee. The greens are small and demanding and some of the best kept greens in the area very fast and smooth. The overall course condition is very good with the fairways and tee boxes very nice and the rough just long enough to penalize you for missing the fairway
