We played on July 4th. Course was very wet, if not soggy. Cart path only made for a 5 hour round. It’s one of those things. The layout was good with some risk reward choices off the tee decks making it interesting.The 18th was a monster par 5 with so many bunkers, twists in direction and water, it made my head dizzy.

My only complaint was the staff. Felt like I always had to ask questions ie, like where exactly do I get a cart. They are apparently near a building beside the pro shop, like I’m supposed to know that somehow playing it the first time. Got a seemingly upset guy where the carts were when my partner asked for a scorecard. They had scorecards for Uushers but not Battlefield. I don’t understand the logic there as that’s where you get the carts no matter which course you play on. We asked he same guy for spare tees. In both requests ,it was go ask the starter behind the building near the first tee, even though they had an empty box there that was there to hold tees. A little thing, but not exactly a welcoming attitude. The guy just sounded upset that we would ask for a scorecard and tees. Notwithstanding, I would play the course again. It’s a good layout, well maintained, fast greens. Would like to play it again in drier conditions.

The course was in great shape. The greens were fast, healthy and consistent with one another. No complaints at all regarding the course or staff. I would play it again tomorrow if I had the time.

I was really surprised as to how great the conditions of the course were.. greens and fairways were in top shape. value was excellent. Fun round. I would play it again next time I come to the Orlando area.

Course conditions were excellent. Haven’t played it in about 3 years. They have certainly made and maintained the conditions better than I recall in previous years. Pace of play however was slow, not sure why. The groups ahead of me were waiting so not their fault. I would go back still.

The course has too many blind shots wherein you do not know where the green is from the tee box on many Par 4s and 5s . If you are playing it for the first time or it's been a while, you're questioning do I aim left, right, middle, where am I aiming exactly? Some of us are old school and like using blue and red stakes to measure 200 and 100 yards respectively. None to be found. You really need a GPS, or one of those Course yardage books, or a partner who knows what is in the blind spots, who can direct you. Many traps were lacking sand and your wedge couldn't get under the ball. To be fair , the Greens and fairways were in very good shape.

I agree with previous reviewers that the course starts off easy and somewhat as a gentle walk in the park, but then it gets in your face and challenges you with some really beautiful rugged holes. The holes were well thought out by the architect in using the natural terrain. Pace was good, no delay. Beverage cart came by often. The views are spectacular .i would play it again.

Water is the predominant physical feature on the course. You need to be accurate, no skulling, or hitting it fat, or your ball will rest in peace in a watery grave. Water everywhere! The fairways were in great shape. Pace of play was great. Beverage cart came around frequently.

If I had one criticism, it would be that some bunkers were lacking sand, and at times it was like hitting off hard pan instead of sand. Overall, still a great course.

In the end, the only question would be: "would I play it again ?" . If given the chance, absolutely.

Played on a Saturday afternoon. It was really slow paced. I suspect it's because they have a replay special. My buddy and I hooked up with a twosome doing a replay. Over 5 hour round. Greens were super slow. They were not burnt out or damaged. They just needed to be cut. Bunkers needed more sand. It was an odd experience as I had played this course about 2 years ago and about 5 times in total and I don't recall these issues. The layout is interesting and at times quite challenging. Some good holes that give you some pause for thought before shooting. I like the course and I would play it again to give it another chance. But I hope they address the above mentioned issues, particularly jamming the course with too many players. I should not be part of the spectators gallery on the tee box for the group ahead of me. Same thing when I was shooting. Otherwise a nice layout.

The course was a fun track. Gave you a lot of opportunities to think, risk reward scenarios. Pace was great. Conditions of the greens were great, as were the fairways. We stayed for dinner and the food and service were good too. As we ate on the patio , the sun went down. The elevated view of the course gave you a spectacular vista of the Phoenix lights skyline. I've been to Phoenix 3 times to golf and had never given the course a try till this year. We enjoyed the first round we did the replay discounted option and played another 18. I will go again in the future.

Great layout, spectacular views,friendly staff. Greens in excellent shape. However the fairways need work. The course had cut out numerous patches exposing raw dirt on the fairways. We were told by the starter that they were working on putting in new sod on a lot of the holes. Lots of GUR. We paid a good buck to play there so given the conditions you would have expected a reduced rate or some compensation. Pace of play was slow. We actually had a five-some(3 carts) in front of us for the first nine. On the turn we were expecting to grab a burger or a dog at their grill near the 10th tee box, but it wasn't staffed. After the round we wanted to have dinner there, but they were only serving appetizers off the menu. The course has great potential in giving you a real positive experience. I'm just not sure why in high season they would start major sod work and be short on kitchen staff. Having said that I would play the course again. It's a beautiful course. Maybe we just caught a bad day.

The course was in fantastic conditions. It requires accuracy, as going off the fairways, you will usually pay. The fairways were generous off the tees and often presented you with a risk/reward scenario. It made you think. Greens were fast and in great shape. I would describe it as a desert style course, hilly in some spots. giving you a variety of looks in elevation changes. Great scenery of the mountains in the Phoenix area

I golfed here for the second time in 2 years with the same group of guys. We all loved it 2 years ago and we all loved it again. The course is accommodating and subject to available time slots, gives you a discounted 2nd round reduced rate, which we all took advantage of
