I teed off on a Saturday around 4:45pm, so it wasn't a peak time. The pace of place was absolutely horrible. Waiting on every single shot, up to 10 minutes in the fairway and 15min on the tee. The course was not in great shape. The fairway grass was far too long and the tee boxes were really beat up. I think I paid $28 for 9 holes and a cart, which isn't horrible, but considering the pace and condition, I definitely won't be back.

I've been playing Ziggy since I was a kid, but hadn't been back in several years. My fiancé is just learning to play, so we came out on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. We basically walked right on, for $12ea on a Saturday at 2pm. If you play a lot of golf, like I do, you won't need more than your wedges. It's a great little course to work on your short game, since the greens are small, it makes you be precise with your wedges. At the same time, it's a fantastic course for someone just learning the game. There's no pressure to speed up and everyone is friendly. Don't change, Ziggy.

This was my second time playing here, however it had been a few years, so I didn't remember much. We decided to take a day off work and come play 18, since the weather looked nice. The pace was a little slow on the first hole, but after that it was fantastic. This course is not overly challenging, however it will challenge you occasionally. Stay in the fairway, and you'll be fine. Course was in OK shape.

I play Prairie Landing very frequently, as it's local. This has become one of my favorites in the area. Beautiful layout, and the course is always in excellent shape. It's challenging, yet fair, and features rolling fairways with lot's of elevation changes. This is a links style, and makes you stay in the fairway. I'm glad I discovered this when I moved to the western suburbs. Only downside is that I'm noticing it's getting extremely difficult to get a tee time, apparently the secret's out!

I've played most every course in the area and Arrowhead is probably the best value by far. The course conditions are very similar to Cantigny, no exaggeration. Don't be confused with the difficulty or type of course, I'm just saying the overall condition of the course (fairways, tee boxes, greens...) is right in line with Cantigny. The course makes you hit some good shots, but it's not overly challenging by any means.

Course was in poor shape and for the money, there are better options in the area.
