Great views and challenging course.

Arrived early and met courteous desk clerks. Also the friendly starter, let us start half hour earlier due to gap in other groups. Pace of play just great.
Terrific views from elevated tees, could lull you into playing too relaxed. The course is challenging and demand precise stroke play. Miss the fairways and say goodbye to your ball, down the deep gulley or thick barranca bush. So choose your clubs and your shot wisely. For example, driver not required on 9' or 10. The front 9 is tough. Then you face the back 9, this is tougher. Had a great time despite the challenge. Looking forward to my next round to play a bit smarter and lower my score.

Challenging course

A strategically designed course that pressures you into thinking and making good creative shots. As I found out the hard way, stay on the fairways or pay the price of extra strokes.
The rough is tough going and the bunkers are also deep and not a piece of cake.
Did not fare well the first time here and learnt from my mistakes. Looking forward to playing here a next time and will carefully select my clubs and my shots each and every hole.

Challenging course that requires good course management.

I could use the cliches like, hit the ball straight and stay out of the rough and bunkers. This is typical for this course with narrow undulating fairways and huge bunkers. There are no water hazards but did I say bunkers. The bunker sand is good and fluffed but deviously deep. Thus good bunker play extraction is needed. The greens are in great shape. They are fast with tricky pin placements. The weather was cool and very windy which may or may not have affected my game. This did not seem to affect my 2, 80 year old golf partners who enjoyed playing the course. In any event I would return to play as soon as a golfnow deal comes up. Beautiful looking club house, but did have time to sample the restaurant or other services. The golf bag pickup guy was very friendly . So was the check in guy and starter.

Nicely groomed course.

Wide fairways, all green, well groomed and trimmed. The postcard sceneries can be distracting, stay focussed. Houses surround the course, another distraction for real estate lovers.
Clubhouse is modern, service is great. Lovely golf day overall, cannot say the same for my round. Would keep course on my playlist.

Course has narrow and undulating fairways.

The course is in great shape with green fairways and smooth but tricky greens. There are undulating, narrow fairways and well protected greens, so plan ahead each and every shot. Wide t shots and inaccurate irons got me in lots of trouble and cost me big time. The bunkers are compacted and splashing out worked best. I guess staying out of bunkers would be best, right. A challenging, interesting course that requires good course management. Would play again and recommend to others. A diamond in the rough.

a challenging course with mountain views.

A challenging course for a newbie made more difficult by cool weather and rain showers. Lost several balls when I strayed from the narrow fairways and in the water hazards.
Would definitely return to play on a nice sunny warm day.
do love birds, but for what it is worth, attention is required to get rid of the excessive duck and geese droppings.

Lush and wide fairways.

A well maintained course with lush grass. Due to the recent rainfalls had to keep cart off the fairways and walk more which was ok. Stay out the bunkers they are deep. The great views on the back nine could be distracting. It also got quite windy which I am told is normal for the area, so get those wind shots ready.
The course conditions were great, and nice to play off grass on the fairways and not dirt patches.
Overall had a good time and enjoyed the round.

Great layout, wide fairways with undulation.

Fairways and greens are in great shape despite the heat . Holes were creative and challenging, with enough water to test your accuracy with the irons. The scenery and picturesque holes can be distracting.

Challenging course. With narrow fairways and elevated tees.

As noted the course offers great features in the design layout of the greens and fairways. Each hole presents it's own challenge.
Fairways need maintenance and clubhouse is dated. Overall good.
