Been waiting to play there for 4 years and finally did. Course was in good shape
The green were a.little dry but not too bad. Saw plenty of 'gators but
not Goliath. And a lot of .birds. Overall it was a great day to golf and a bad day of golfing.

Normally Bobcat Trail is out of my range, dollar wise, during season. But with all of the Snowbirds back at home, it is well priced.
The course is in beautiful condition this time of year.
The greens are nice and fast and in very good condition.
The pro-shop is always well stocked and the staff is friendly.

Not a bad couse layout. The.greens were ruff and needed to be trimmed and rolled. Met some great snowbirds to play with. An exceptional place to play for the value.

I really enjoy playing Port Charlotte. Now with the Snowbirds gone, it gives me more opportunities to play there. The only negative is that the staff, when checking in, should let you know that the greens have been sanded and plugged. But even with that, the greens played better than a few other coursed in the area.

Love this course, except. There is always an except. The only negative thing is the greens. Lotta work has got to be done on them. Bumpy because of a LOT of bare spots. And that is the only reason I gave it 1 star for the value.

My 1st time here and I have been waiting to play here for some time now. The front nine was real slow. A marshall/ranger would have helped pace of play due to crowded conditions. i.e. pick up after triple bogey or more.
Greens were slow but in good condition. I would have expected faster greens for the course.
Back nine was faster due to some players in front of us only playing nine holes, but much more enjoyable to play even if it had been as crowded.
Met some great Snowbirds!
Overall a great place to play.

Since moving here in July 2013, I have played Sable Trace more than any other place. Mainly due to pricing and convenience. The course is in the best shape I have seen to date. The only down side is the greens. They are ruff, bumpy, could use a good rolling and have duck grass growing all thru them.
