Nice golf course in good condition. Good challenge.

Played this course several times. We enjoy the layout and the challenging, but fair holes. Fortunately, we got a decent deal during the holiday week. The greens were decent pace, however very grainy with a couple different types of grass. Bunkers were horrible. Very little sand and extremely firm beneath the little sand. Not something your expect from a course of this caliber. Another PITA is their QR code procedure for signing the cart waiver. Whose brilliant idea? We got the first tee and the group we were paired with had not done that, so we waited till they completed filling it out. We had to download the QR application as we did not have it on the phone we did have. What do you do if you did not bring your phone? We were paired up with a twosome, one of which was only their 3rd time on a regulation course Thought we might be in for a 5 hour plus round, but give them credit for picking up several times during the round. Was still a 4 1/2 round, which is typical for this course.

Play this course a couple times each season as it is located some distance from home. Overall course conditions were excellent. Only issue was the condition of the bunkers. Obviously not maintained daily. Not a lot of sand and thus the ground was very firm. Greens were excellent as was the pace of play.

Play this course a few times each season. The greens are almost always in great condition as they were for our recent round. We had planne.d on getting dinner after the round at the clubhouse, but the kitchen was closed. The wind brought on an extra challenge this time

Have played this course previously. Greens are small and have some challenging slopes, specially the first hole. Not at manicured course. Greens are on the slow side. Fairways are very uneven and have lot of washboards. It is still a fun course to play. Much more challenge that the course rating and slope. Played somewhat slower than we would like as the foursome ahead were sharing clubs and obviously there for an outing and not. They had at least 4 groups backed up.

Bunkers are quite firm under the sand. Sand appears to be fluffy, but blast shot will be a challenge. We had a foursome and there were quite a few twosomes and some singles. Had a single hit in to us on the first hole. Not only once, but twice and not because we were slow. There were groups ahead of us that we waited on.

Play this course several times each season. Good overall design. Two of the par 4s on the front take a long tee shot to make the corner and not be blocked by trees. The first fairway and rough were not in the best condition on the first hole. Greens were fine.

The greens rolled very well, but are challenging as most are somewhat domed and not very large. This is an old style tree lined fairway golf course. Fairways were on the long side because of the wet conditions and not getting mowed, but overall were OK. Bunker sand was somewhat thin in spots. Decent course for the price and very helpful staff.

Friend had played the course and liked it, so we have been looking for a tee time that would work. Hard to book with the blocked out times and residents preferred. Overall an OK course. We played Vista/Lakes. Fairways were in good condition. Greens were a little on the slow side for our preference. The bunkers are the BIG minus in my opinion. Not really sand, but more small pebbles or more desert like. We got paired up with a couple locals and they helped us navigate the course. Glad we did not pay the regular rack rate. Very resort style winding through the residential area. For the right price, we would probably play again, but not for listed green fees.

Have played this course several times. This last round was the first time this winter. Have always enjoyed playing the course, but this last round was slow and the greens were the worst we've played here in the valley this winter. Our round was an over 5 hour round. We waited every hole. Ranger did come around and told us there were no gaps in the play. The fairways were soft and wet. Appeared the staff had put down some chemical and watered it in. For the price we paid, one would reasonably expect decent greens. The greens were an odd mixture of grainy and splochy patches of grass that resulted in the bumpy slow putts. Not at all what we expected for the price we paid for the round. Typically play this course several times during our winter stay, but doubt we will return this winter. Too expensive for the course conditions and pace of play. After the round, the cart attendant asked how the round went. Told him about the pace of play and his comment was there was a twosome that was holding up the course. No idea of when they teed off. When were on the 15th hole, the group behind us quit because of the slow play. Maybe they are members or had a schedule to keep. 5 hour plus round is not acceptable.

Have not played this course in several years, mainly because of the expensive green fees. We did manage to book a rate that we were OK with. Probably the resident twilight rate, so decided to take some friends that had not previously played the course. We did have a later tee time and were not sure if we would be able to finish, but the pace of play was fine. Not a lot of character for the course, but still enjoyed the round. Would play it again for the right price, but not the rack rate. There are more courses in the area that are better courses for less money.

Greens were some of the best condition I've played this summer. True and fast.

Spent a lot of time searching for balls in the leaves. Was very windy and leaves were blowing all over. Being a Sunday there was no staff chopping leaves in the rough. Typically the course does a good job of managing the leaves, but not this time.

Bumper crop of maple seeds. Made several greens impossible to putt. That combined with slow, furry, bumpy greens made for a challenge. Was only in one bunker and sand was firm but consistent. Several of the greens will be an adventure for putting. Overall the course layout is OK. Doubt I will be back for what the green fees are. Definitely would help to have played the course prior as there are a few tee shots that are blind to the landing areas.

Greens were on the slow side. Typically the greens are quite good. Tee boxes were in need of mowing. Maybe this is typical when over seeding is not longer required and summer grass starting to green up.

Try to get out to play the courses at Verrado a couple of times each winter we are in AZ. Victory is a fun course that is playable for golfer of all skill levels. The forward tees are set up to minimize forced carries. My wife always enjoys the course because of this. Course condition was good. Greens are quite firm, but will hold a shot. Some of the cups on the greens were somewhat ragged. Lots of construction for homes going on, so several cart paths are gravel and rough. This is not a course for walkers.

Always enjoy playing the course. The weather was perfect and even thou the course was very busy, we were able to complete the round in under 4 hours. Would have been nice to have a beverage cart running. The greens were a little soggy, but putted true and were fast. On several holes, if you were above the pin, your putt was going to be a challenge. Reading the greens is a challenge anyway. Bring your A game for pitch shots to the elevated greens as it will be difficult to hold the ball on the green for some of the holes.

First timer for this course and doubt we will be back. Zero Pace of play. Over a 5 hour round. More than once we had several groups on the same tee. Course is OK with lots of sand. There is some hidden trouble if you are not familiar with the course. Not a great value with overall conditions. Doubt we will be back. Definitely not for what we paid.

First time playing this course. Saw some good reviews and we needed to find a course to play that was a reasonable drive for each of us as we are on the west side and they are on the east of the valley. Not sure of the total bunker count, but it must be close to 100. They are everywhere. Tough course for a high handicapper. We waited for our next shots on every hole. There was a 3 group back up on fir first par 3. Ranger came around and said they were aware of the back up, but it should clear after hole 8. That did not happen,. More waiting and another back up with 3 groups on one of the par 4s on the back nine. Holes are for the most part are basically the same layout. Very flat with dog legs or straight away. There were a couple of holes where some players had sliced their tee shots 2 fairways over.. This course obviously gets a lot play and many of the landing areas from the tees are mostly filled in divots. Sand in the bunkers is not bad, but can get very firm in the bottoms. We will not recommend this course, nor will we be back. Too many other courses for less money, better layout and faster play. We drove from SCW where we typically finish a round in 3 1/2 hours and pay 1/2 of what we paid at GC, plus better course conditions and layout.
