First time playing. There are two courses, but had no idea of which one was available on Golfnow, until we booked and received the confirmation. O'odham was the course we played. The driving range was packed as were both golf courses. Not sure why, because the green fee is overpriced for the course. This is a $50 range course, not over $100. Overall decent conditions. Did play somewhat slow on the back 9. Will not be back because of the green fee rates. Maybe there are some deals for the casino guests, which would explain how busy the course was. Would not recommend the course, just because of the green fee rate. Too many choices of courses in the area for a lot less money.

Finished the front in 2 hours despite waiting on virtually every shot. Back 9 was another story. We made a stop at the turn and still had to wait on 10. The kicker was when we got to the 12 tee and there were 4 groups on the hole. One on the green and 3 on the tee. Cart lady did come by and said she called the clubhouse to get a ranger out. There was someone that did show up and said that after 14, we should be fine. Well that never happened. We waited on every shot. There apparently was some group outing. Still ZERO excuse for the slow play. Cart paths are non existent several places on the back. This is a development and there is quite a bit of construction,, so the paths are basically rock and boulders in many places. Overall the course conditions were good, but staff needs to pay attention to the pace of play and keep groups moving.. One guy in the group ahead of us figured it is OK to do phone business on the tees.

Front 9 fairways were not it the best condition. Back 9 was much better. Lots of thin areas. Greens were very wet, but rolled fine. Left foot prints as you walked across the greens. Fun golf course with scenic views. Played in just under 4 hours. Was not a beverage cart out on this visit.

First time playing Cave Creek. Course layout is OK. Overall condition of the fairways, tee boxes, bunkers and greens was OK Cart paths were horrible, other than the limited concrete sections. Doubt we will be back to play this course for the price we paid.

We usually try to play Wickenburg Ranch each winter that we visit AZ. Did not play it last year , but did manage to play this December. The course conditions were perfect. Fairways and greens were the best of any course we've played in the valley. One of our favorite courses in the Phoenix area.

First time playing the Palmer course. The price has always prevented me from booking a tee time. Finally, we were able to secure a reasonable green fee, so booked a tee time. The course is very playable, however there are some holes that some local knowledge would have helped. Fairways and rough were all dormant brown. Areas around the tees and greens had been over seeded. The fairways and rough were certainly in OK condition, but for the price expected the fairways to have been over seeded. Sand in the bunkers was inconsistent. Same had a thin layer and were very firm under the thin layer. Others were fine. We played in just under 4 hours, even letting a single and a twosome play through. Lots of twosomes, threesomes and a few singles . It is a resort course, so there are several sets of tees which make it playable for all skill levels of players. We were paired up with a couple and the lady was a very high handicappers, but she was able to enjoy her round. Overall, an OK course, but not worth the rack rate green fees. Maybe if you are resort guest , you get a break on the green fees. Golf carts have GPS. There were a couple of flags that the distance was off by about 10 yards. Screen was hard to see as the screen was not very bright. Would play the course again if we get a decent price, which should be about $50. The course certainly is not worth the $149 or $229 green fee advertised.

Always enjoy playing this course. Greens were quick and in great condition.. Only problem we had was with the bathroom on the back 9. The toilet flusher chain and flapper were broken in the mens toilet and the cart did not have a key for the womens. Beer was $5 a can which is excessive for a 12oz can of beer. Will not be purchasing beverages next time we play. There were two bottles of water on ice in the cart since there was not drinking water on the course. We brought our own water mugs with ice.

Greens are always in great shape. Course was in nice fall condition. We played in under 4 hours.

Play this course several times each summer. This greens were in great condition.

Staff sent out us early and we finished in 3 hours. Lots of locals and they do not play slow.

Greens were very fast and firm. Overall conditions were good

Have not played the course in several years. Tee boxes were not the best, but rest of the course was OK. Overall a good course layout and decent value.

Try to get to this course a couple of times each season. Course conditions were good. Greens were good. Crab grass on many of the tee boxes

Played several years ago before the back 9 was completed. Was not impressed with the back 9 layout. The 17th hole is a guess where to hit your 2nd shot. Landing area about the size of a popsicle stick
Hole 16 has power lines and guy wires to contend with off the tee. Greens were quite slow. Decent sand in the bunkers. We got to the 10th tee and there were 4 groups. The first group was a six some. Course was sending groups off the back because of an afternoon shotgun event. Course is way over priced for daily play. Will not be back

Try to play this course several times each summer. Decent layout and the greens are always in great shape. The bunker sand is consistent and without rocks or small pebbles as many courses have.

Course was in good shape despite having all of the rain the past week. There was a lot of standing water, but none on the fairways or rough. There were 2 hole that were cart path only, but otherwise no restrictions.

The only problem with the course is the condition of the bunkers. Many had lots of rock and stones. Played courses that the waster bunkers were in better shape than this course. This is not because of the rain either. The sand is not sand but rocks in many of them. The tees had not been mowed in several days, so were quite long.

Try to play Founders a few times each winter. Course is always in good shape. Reading the greens can be challenging, but getting better as I play the course more.

Usually play here a couple of times each summer. This round was our first of the year. Even with all of the rain, the course was very playable, other than the bunkers which many had standing water and washouts. Greens were in excellent condition. Fun course to play.

Overall a decent layout and course conditions. Bunkers were more like waste areas. They have rocks and pebbles and are very firm overall. There were a couple of exceptions. Greens were the slowest we've played in AZ. They were in decent condition, but on the slow side. There is ample water on the course which was a plus on the hot day. Every other hole has a water cooler, with ice cold water. IMO, this is not a $100 golf course, but if you can find a deal for about half of that a fair value.
