Play yearly over many years.
Course is in good shape comparable to other similar level courses in the region.
Some areas were very soft. Green we smooth but slow as always.
This year there were a lot of Nats. No seeim. They’re not usually interested in me. But this year, so bad at the bag drop, putting green, around several tee boxes.

Booked for a practice round Mar. 2. The course was over saturated due to all the rain. So Cart Paths only. But this course should have been closed for being unplayable. Bunkers were lakes, fairways were swamps. They’re sending lots of groups out (because it’s cheap) and to take the money.
Next, this course should be closed. Worst condition course I’ve played in 20 + years. Bulldozed for houses or something. Fairway are full of weeds, the greens are yellow. Cart paths are breaking apart. I walked off after a few holes. I actually drop to another course close by to make sure I wasn’t seeing the norm for this time of year. Other course in Calabash was in excellent condition. Give it up and close, please.

Very cold day. Course was empty. Some difficult challenging carry shots. A few unmarked hidden hazards. Will know better next time. would play it again in warmer weather. Fairways ok for winter. Bunkers well maintained. Greens were cut, and painted. very consistent roll. good course for the low price.

Nice course, great condition for Dec. . Would play again in a minute. Only concern was that we were group as 2 singles and a pair to make a foursome. No one else on the course. Why not send us out as 2 groups and get around faster.

Greens are new, sparce but rolled.
Fairways are sparce, bunkers not raked.
Tees are over grown and in rough shape.
Some good holes on the back, front is bland.
Friendly staff, good for the hot deal price.
The Valley at Eastport Golf Club
Played On 10/9/2012Challenging, good value for the discounted price. For the straight hitter.
Very tight course tree lined with condos in play on 3 holes.
Small landing areas on some holes, especially from the blues.
Need to be able to shape shots tee to green around trees.
Enjoyed it but I hit the ball very straight.
Nice elevated greens, with large bunkers (needs raking).
10 forced carry / water in play holes.
Some holes like 3, 6, and 14 have no landing area for the average golfer.
Would play again.
Pace okay. Well maintained greens and fairways.
