Fun Course

Played in two hours as a single first thing in the morning. Beautiful sunrise and fun course. Shot 78 with hitting three balls in the water. Would definitely play again.

Fantastic course

This is one of my favorite courses. Absolutely fantastic layout and super fun to play. I only gave four out of five stars because there were literally six groups on the first tee at our 1:00 tee time. Not sure what happened, but we started on 14 instead and flew around the course.

Good value

Fun layout, course was in great condition. Back nine has some very difficult tee shots. Greens were running fast and smooth.

Average Course at Best

Would be a fun course if it didn’t take five hours to play. It’s so short and very little trouble anywhere, it should take no more than four hours to play. That wasn’t our experience though. Our foursome waited on every shot and several holes had two or three groups on the teebox.

Good course/Strange parking

This review is specifically for folks who have never played here. We played the Palmer course and it was a really fun layout. My suggestion would be to arrive a little earlier than you normally would for a round. Here's my experience - pulled up to gated resort. You can see the golf academy on the right just past the gate. Looks like it could possibly be where you go to check in for golf. I asked the guard "Is that where you park for golf right over there?" His response was, "Take a right at the end of the road." That's it. No other instructions. After a mile or more, you end up at the resort itself, no signs of where to go for golf or anything. So we went all the way back to the golf academy. Nice young man explained you have to use valet at the resort and they give you a ride to the pro shop. So we drove all the way back to the resort again. Once we arrived at the pro shop, a starter asked for our tee team. I said 11:06. "What's your name?" I told him and he said your tee time is 11:14. I said, that's fine but our tee time is actually 11:06. There were no other golfers anywhere, so the tee time did not make a difference at all. He explained (for a long time and unnecessarily) that when you book on Golfnow they don't have access to the course's system and the course can change the tee time up to 20 minutes either way. "It's on the small print of your confirmation." It's not, but I didn't feel like arguing because I didn't really care. We went and played and had fun.
