You will be very happy playing the Norman course as the greens Roll true and the course is in immaculate condition.Resort guest green fees are very fair and well worth it. You won't be disappointed . Play on !

Good track , convienant to stay at the La Quinta resort. Not much shade to hide from the sun in morning - mid afternoon. Early morning tee times will have your driving shots directly into the sun - keep it straight ! Late afternoon tee time best to enjoy the setting sun behind the beautiful mountain range that envelopes the course , and cheaper rate. Prime time tee times are $10-25 more than the Norman course ( at time of this post ) which is only a 7 minute drive from resort. And in my opinion a greener , more challenging track with more shade near tees and greens too! Yes I know it's the desert , but a little shade goes a long way. Enjoy

beware of HEAVY BETTERS that will sloooooow the pace of play , the enemy of a good round to most - Slow Play

Can't say enough about the course , challenging , enjoyable and great staff to tend to every need. John the starter is very helpful. Tip him well !!

Shorter than the sister Course with small greens ,it's used as a parking lot for the ROSE BOWL so the fairways can be a little beat up with tire tracks ! And light wackers sprinkled out of play - jus a distraction ! Play can be slow if a foursome is walking the course. But if you can play for less than the rack rate - you are winning !!

Good view of skyline , the drought has taken its toll on the fairways of Scholl Cyn GC . Staff expedite you getting on the tee , yet the pace of play is dictated by the eddicate & lack of skill set the 4 some in front of you possess! No Marshall on the weekends makes for a Looong round. Convenient and close to Burbank - Glendale & Pasadena . Not a Driver course at all , get your shot offline and you will be looking in the bushes like the group your ain't in in front of you !!

Hit it straight , have fun - at a snails pace !

Dunes course ; resort play , not too tough , easy to make pars or better !! Fast smooth greens roll true , plays shorter than yardage on card - desert air helps !! Hard to find much shade in middle of the day - go early plays faster in the morning anyway !! Tee time less $$ in mid afternoon ( 6/15) mountain course closed for flood repairs , see ya in the fall !!

Babe Z course : Target golf, Driver not necessary on half the holes. Shaped shots an advantage to lowering your score. Pace and tempo of play will affect your wait time, tee to green. Starter should spread tee times better and a marshall controlling pace and pressuring those without skill set to play this course. Tee selection should be enforced according to handicap. Who likes to play the blue tees and loose a ball every other hole? .. making a double bogey (or more ) can't be enjoyable to anyone, especially for the group behind [ that ] player.
