GA has had a lot of rain recently. Cart path only for this course will be likely until spring time. Greens are always great, make sure you keep your approach shots below the hole. Down hill putts are tough here. Course is always fun, definitely recommend!

First time playing the course, I live north of Atlanta and made a trip to play this course. Worth the effort to get out here! Course is fantastic and the back nice is one of the best I have played in north Georgia. Conditions were excellent. Stuff was super friendly inside, course has a great practice putting green and a normal range. Make the drive, it’s worth it.

Saw this course on a weekend hotdeal, it did not disappoint! Playing from blues you could take driver on most holes, some layup shots needed for some course management. Greens were just sanded which made for slower uphill putts, they should be getting better and better as days go by.

Greens are rolling really well at this course. Staff is super professional and nice, from the club house to the starter. Course is really fun to play, beware there are two hole that are super up hill from tee box, tough to get to a flat spot. Just take a extra club on your approach to green and you will be just fine! Can’t wait to come back!

The course is always a joy to come too. People are nice, layout is great. They will be punching greens shortly but they always do such a great job here. Just putt a little straighter with punched greens. Keep up the good work!

Course is in really nice shape, grounds keepers are doing a good job this summer! Greens where rolling nice today. They have a nice large putting area that you can chip on and a solid range. The club house is renovated, bathrooms are super nice and clean. Bev cart was in full swing and they had two water coolers are the course. If you can fight the I-20 traffic this course is awesome!

Reading prior reviews, everyone complaining about tee boxes. Yes there are a little rough but they are working on them. I saw them re soding today. Greens where in good shape, there are a few bare spots on the fairway but nothing affected me, I played from golds which is a good tee for average players. I teed off early in the morning and there was no one out there(weekday). I do wish the rate was 5-10 less since there the clubhouse is being worked on and the porta potties outside. I knew about this and hit up the Publix near by before the round. Staff was super friendly at check in and the Marshall John was nice. Cart has GPS as well which is a good feature.

Course is doing some maintenance of a few fairways, doesn’t have too much affect on your round. The green are in really solid shape. The staff does a great job running the course. It’s going to be really great during the summer, they really care about this course. The blue tees where playing a little bit further back then normal and made for a fair challenge on a few holes. Definitely recommend this course!

This course is always a gem. The people from the starter to the club house staff, everyone is super nice and helpful. Course it’s set has its challenges from the blue tees. A lot of elevation changes throughout the course. Greens are in good shape and rolled very true today. Can’t wait for it to get greener towards the summer time!

Battled the cold this morning, booked a hot deal last min. Course is a great place to practice if you don’t want a full length course, you can still use a lot of different shots on this course. Tree lines come into play on a few tee shots with the driver. Greens are quick especially coming down hill. The guys do a great job keeping this place awesome! Starter was super nice and let me start on the back! Definitely recommend this place!

Played after a big rain storm, course was cart path only, played from a tee box forward since I wasn’t going to get a roll on the fairways. Drained daily well even with all the rain from the previous day. The greens where fantastic, rolled quick and true, was in great shape. Course has various hole layouts which makes it a lot of fun!

Course was great today! Greens have some challenging pin placements. The course is not long but your score will add when putting! I would definitely play again soon!

Country Land is a very solid course, worth a hot deal plus a coupon. Tee shots have to be in the right spot. Gotta play the hills here. Lots of approach shots either downhill or up. Greens very soft, still have lots of break in some pin locations. Everyone is very nice, you do have a lot of beginners, be patient!

Course layout is fantastic, not too challenging from the gold tees. I hate to be that guy but they did just punch the greens with a light sand, no warning when I booked, greens rolled fine just slower and a bit straighter. You can work with it! It was a warm day mid week and the bev cart was making the rounds a lot which is needed on a warm day. Back nine got a little backed up on tee boxes waiting. Overall this course is beautiful and once the greens heal this is the best course in the Winder area!

Played woodlands today, grass is getting greener by the day. Greens are slow compared to what they will be in a few weeks when they cut them. Course is in fabulous shape. Best public clubhouse in north Georgia! Can’t wait to play again!

Coming from the north metro area, I enjoyed this course a lot. It was a drive to get to but we’ll worth it. Greens were fantastic and the course overall was in good shape. Played from the blues, gave enough challenge.

The is a nine hole course layout, play it twice you get 18…booked an afternoon hot deal and was not disappointed. The practice area is huge. Layout of the nine is great from the back tees. One hole I had no idea where to sim until I saw the huge 150 stick in the ground, keep left of it you’ll be good. Had a great time!

Good weather today. The course is in good shape, a couple of quick putts when you are above the hole. Layout is great and a good test from the blues. Starter was very nice and the Marshall was around to make sure things were moving. The course in a feed weeks will be awesome and green! Can’t wait! Best value for the weekend in all of north Georgia!

Course held up after a previous rain. Course was cart path only, you could definitely walk it too. Some holes do not require a lot of length of the tee. Greens were in winter shape, you could put some good pace behind the putts. Can’t wait for the spring this course will be beautiful and quicker!

Course is in good shape for the winter, greens are slower for the season. Played from the blues today, gives you a good challenge on a few holes but this course is the best value in the area. Thank you Sugar Hill!
