Seaview - The Pines Course
Played On 10/22/2017Pretty good
It's a nice course. Well maintained and challenging. However our cart was awful, it was so slow and got even slower. On the 18th hole it wouldn't go up a hill so we had to push it, luckily it was mostly downhill and flat ground going back to the clubhouse. However, the starter was rude to us. When getting the bags out of the car, he asked what tee time we had, I told him and he goes "don't know anything about it" I told him that I had made it a couple days ago on golf now, and he treated me like I was stupid and made it at the wrong place or something. We parked and went in the pro shop, where they found our tee time no problem. When we went out to get the cart the starter goes "you were right you did have a tee time" as if I was the one who was confused. Then we (a twosome) caught up to a foursome playing very slow. They were super friendly and explained to us there was 2 more foursomes in front of them slowing things up. We skipped 2 holes to get in front of the foursomes, however we asked all of them if what we were doing was ok because we play quite fast. They all said no problem, but the foursome in front clearly had a problem with it as they started playing faster than any foursome I've ever seen so that they could keep up with us. They were picking up bad shots and just dropping in a good position so that they could keep pace with us. This coupled with the rude starter made for a pretty off putting experience. Not sure if we'll be back as there are courses just as nice with friendly people.

What an awesome course. The staff are all incredibly friendly, the starter will sit there and have a conversation with you about your playing ability and pace of play, then will decide which course to send you out on. He listens to you and will take your requests into account. The rangers are very nice and do an amazing job at keeping play moving. The course is beautiful, but there is a serious problem with people not replacing their divots! I know this is not the fault of the course but it is very annoying when your drives are rolling into people's divots multiple times. If there were less divots this would easily get 5 stars for condition of course. Would recommend this course to anyone

Played On 07/26/2017Course was in such bad shape
First off let me say that this is a really cool course. It has a great layout, really nice holes, and could easily be a 5 star $100 a round course. However it was in such bad shape that I would not pay more than $35 for this course. I am glad that I found a hot deal on golf now, because I would never pay full price ($80) for this course. The greens were super bumpy and did not roll true, many of the fairways were torn up and had dead spots all over, and the tee boxes are torn to shreds. Not to mention there was damage around the edges of many of the cups. I will give this course another try next year in the hopes that they get it into really good shape. I do not recommend playing it for the remainder of this year unless you get an amazing deal.

This course has a good layout, and is relatively inexpensive. It will not wow you, but will not disappoint you either. When it is in peak condition, it is a great course for the money. I love playing here

Played On 04/26/2017It was Uninspiring
This course was alright. The pace of play was nice, I played at 4 and got through 18 in 4 hours. The greens were in good shape, but the cups were in terrible shape. The lip of nearly every cup was destroyed. I dont know if they need a new machine to make the holes, but it was very frustrating. The people there were very nice, the cart guy drove me out to the hole and refused to accept a tip. The tee boxes were in bad shape, but they had the tees moved up so hopefully they will move them back soon. The fairways were in decent shape, but the rough was disgusting and filled with mud. It had rained the day before I went, but there was still so much mud and water on the course they must have a drainage problem. A couple of the cups were filled with water. The first cut of rough is like hitting out of a swamp sometimes. I understand wanting the rough to be thick and difficult, but this was just like they had neglected it for a while. The course is very boring, it's mostly just up and back up and back over and over again. More like a $20 course than a $29 course. Would only go again if you can get a deal for less than $25

Great course for the money. It had been aerated but there was no price adjustment which was somewhat annoying, but the price is still great. It's a nice fairly easy course we really like playing here but my biggest complaint is the pace of play. I would not recommend playing here if you are by yourself and looking to get a quick round in because there is no ranger and foursomes don't really let you play through all that much. Everyone takes their time and there is no rush, which I have no problem with but at least let people play through when they want to move faster. Overall though it's a good course at a fair price
Grand Cypress - North/South
Played On 03/15/2017Amazing Course
This is easily the greatest course I have ever played. We got a deal on GolfNow for $60 each and it is a course I would have definitely payed $120 each for. Incredibly stunningly beautiful course with an amazing layout that really challenges you in a very fun way. The greens were fast and true, the traps were perfectly raked, the fairways were beautifully manicured, the rough was challenging but well kept, and the tee boxes were beautiful. You can tell that a lot of thought and hard work went into this course and it has payed off. We were in front of a foursome and behind a foursome but we were never held up at all. The ranger does a really good job of keeping things moving. Everyone on the staff is super friendly and they dont even seem to care about working for tips. They are happy to do their jobs. On a course this nice you usually expect to run into some jerks but everyone playing the course was nice and friendly. Would absolutely recommend this course to anyone if they are in the Orlando area. I will be back
Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club
Played On 03/14/2017Great Course for the Money
The staff here are incredibly. Extremely friendly guys in the pro shop and the starter was super nice and friendly. The course is pretty challenging for a slope rating of 118. The greens were hard and inconsistent, but the fairways were in good shape. The sand looked like it had not been raked by anyone all day, but that is not the fault of the course it is just inconsiderate players. We played 9 and met a really nice guy from Canada that we played with. The rough is really thick and not kept that well but overall we had a good time and the price was reasonable. Plus, the work the Chi Chi Academy is doing is amazing so if any part of the fees go to those kids then it is money well spent.
Harbor Pines Golf Club
Played On 02/18/2017Nice course with nice staff but bad members
I love this course. Really great layout, well maintained, and perfect level of difficulty. The staff are very nice and friendly, especially the starter (Kevin I think). The service in the bar can be a little slow but the food is good. However every time I've played here it is incredibly slow. I think the staff are reluctant to tell members that there are no tee time, so it is always backed up. There is always a line at the first tee and it is slow through the entire course. Also, the ranger seems very reluctant to tell people (especially members) to speed up or let people play through. I understand there's some politics with members but it can get absurd here. Also the people who play here are jerks. They play slow in front of you and don't let you play through, and the people behind you always hit up extremely close to you and at times don't even wait until you are off the green. It can border on dangerous at times. I don't know if management likes to foster a sense of entitlement among their members, but that's how it seems. It's really unfortunate because it's such a nice course.
