The course was only in fair shape, especially for this time of year. The greens are not smooth, as they are still recovering from aeration. The fairways are spotty and the tee boxes need work. Pace of play was good, but only due to the kindness of other players allowing us to play through.

Course was in decent shape with the usual thick/long lyman rough. Greens were in good shape except for some ant mounds and all the ballmarks that were not repaired. Pace of play was soooo slow due to 2 foursomes of walkers followed by some hacks playing from the blue tees. About 20 minutes per hole is ridiculous. Ranger was kind enough to let us skip ahead a few holes and complete them at the end of our round. Would have been a 5hr plus round which is unacceptable especially on a weekday.

Some tee boxes were in poor shape. The greens were quick but had a lot of small debris(pine needles and tree debris) which should have been blown clear. Pace of play was fast as we were the first ones out. Except we caught up to random people a few holes in who appeared out of nowhere. This is not the first time this has happened here. They did let us play through so not a big deal this time. Rates are too high for the current conditions especially on weekends.

Needs work from tees to greens. Tee boxes are patchy crabgrass. Fairways do not exist. Greens are ok but don’t roll smooth. Low cost is only thing going for it but not for serious golfers.

The course was in good shape. The greens are fast. The layout is questionable as the course is surrounded by roadways and homes making fairways tight on the left. Somewhat pricey without deal times. Restaurant was good with outdoor patio. Food and beer selection was very good.

The course was in decent condition considering the dry summer. The greens were in good shape and rolled true.

I played a few weeks ago and thought things were slightly improving. After a short dry spell the course has taken a turn for the worse. There are thick patches of clover everywhere and even small patches forming on the greens. The fairways are patchy if existent at all.

I've always liked the layout of the Player course better than that of the Jones course. The conditions on the other hand are always frustrating. The greens were bumpy due to aeration. The rough was ridiculous at 4-6 inches just off the fairways and right around the greens making it difficult to even find your ball. The bunkers were bad. Beware of the fairway bunker on the 3rd hole. Golf ball size rocks. Smooth and place a must.

This course is still in bad shape. The fairways are nonexistent. The tee boxes are uneven and most of the traps are hard dirt. The greens were decent but slow. Can't imagine anyone paying full price.

For $15 for 18 holes w/cart it was worth it. The greens were a little bumpy and tee boxes a little rough and uneven. But it only took 2 1/4 hrs for 18 holes. Overall it was OK.

The prices have gone up but the conditions of the course have gone down. The greens were aerated a few weeks prior but we're still in bad shape. Bumpy due to sand and some patchy spots. There are better courses around especially for the price.

Overall the course wasin OK shape. The greens appeared to be in good shape but when putting the ball would tend to hop along. The "sand" traps were horrible as they were not sand at all. Mostly clay with a lot of stones.
