Ridgeview Ranch is near my home, so I typically play here 8-10 times a year. Well, today was my first round in some time and I could hardly believe the conditions encountered. Fairways consisted of very tight lies due to a lack of a healthy stand of grass. There were even patches where grass did not exist. Greens had been aerated recently which is needed regularly but these had not been top dressed with enough sand. One green#5 had a small weed in nearly each punch of the green. Rough was totally neglected and could use mowing. There was a hole closed #14 and one that was shortened to a par three. When I booked it online, it sure would have been nice to know what I was getting into. Not for certain, but the course has all the appearances of a “give-up”. There are plenty of other courses in the area that are much more worthy of your support. Makes me sad to see this course gone South.

In my 50 years of playing golf, these are without a doubt, the worst greens I have ever played on. I was not warned of their condition beforehand. The course really should have been closed. Hard to understand why it was not. Save your money, your time and your sanity and don't play here anytime in the near future.
