Greens very nice/fairways and rough decent/Kyle was on duty to collect the green fees and he was a real treat/very friendly and seemed to like what he does and always a good sign/if you get a chance I’d say play it because it was the best bang for the buck

Fairway ground was somewhat dry but it is California and the green side bunkers were wet although I did tee off early morning. Greens were slow even for the members but they held approach shots and the weather was great as usual which always makes the day

From the parking lot looking down on a golf course with standing water and sketchy looking greens and fairways I thought, "why did I book here to play". Well, never judge this book by its cover, this course was a lot of fun and challenging to play. Aside from the fact that some lies weren't that good because of winter or the maintenance, I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK AND PLAY IT AGAIN. The greens were true and putts rolled out nicely. Some shorter par fours were risk/reward which could make or break a round but that was the fun part. Worth the ride. No doubt you will enjoy the course, also.

Great open layout. Fairways were fast and firm but most times a good enough lie even if you pick the ball. Greens were tough to read for me. The speed was sneaky quick. Easy to play too much break. Overall, I would definitely take my buds there. Great views of the mountains. This will be a repeat course for me every year I come back.

The course is an olde gal but a great layout. They just punched and seeded fairways however the greens and bunkers are well kept. Play the tee markers according to your ability and you will enjoy your day. Because I played as a single I was able to play 2 balls the entire round. It was actually recommended by the starter. My wife was waiting for me outside the main building as I concluded hole 13 and decided to ride with me the rest of the round. This course staff and the Hyatt grounds made for a relaxing time.

I played the Pine course. It was in better than average overall condition. Seemed to play a little longer than the marked yardages. Nice practice facility. Very good course for the money including the beverages. As a 6 handicap early in the season I took one more club and started scoring better. The greens were in great shape. I would definitely go back next time I'm in Arizona.

Played the back tees since most holes had generous room for not so perfect a tee shot. The greens this year were firm, probably because of the drought. This is another course where you could read too much break, play half the amount and you will have a better chance of sinking more putts. The staff was extremely friendly. Played this course 3 years in a row and I will play it again next year when I come back.

No matter which 9 you play you will enjoy the layout of each hole. The greens are quick and putts roll out nice. Play half the amount of break you think you see and you will sink more putts. The locals are very friendly to pair up with and have a good sense of humor. The price thru golfnow and the travel time from downtown San Diego makes this must play each year I come out. P.S. The bunkers are soft and fluffy. Use a wedge with a lot of bounce. It's not like the firm sand that the pros like.

The staff dealt with the frost delay in an extremely accommodating manor for all. Had a really good breakfast sandwich during by brief wait. Was paired up with another twosome and it didn't take long before we were having fun. Not knowing the course made it more difficult but the layout was fair if I knew the course a little better. Great finishing hole. For an older course the greens were rolling great. I will go there again on my revisit next year.
